Holding tight after an awful financial debt is not only hard for Kim Yongjun, but also for the last few staffs that weren't either fired or left the company after a particularly bad lawsuit, their nearly-dead group, and set of trainees. A debut is impossible after all.
SEM Entetrainment, a very, very unknown entertainment struggled to even let their seven-member boygroup, OZONE, alive without disbanding in the first place. Albeit having debuted in 2014, their releases were defeated by bigger groups, and they weren't having tides turned against them. Finally, when they do earn some fame after a hard, schedule-packed working conditions, lawsuits were dropped that left the supposed company in debt. That's 2016. The remaining few were promoting... supposedly in Japan, in hopes of a better career. But when they lacked coherence that seven members could, along with large gaps of vocalists and rappers, their presence are largely forgotten.
Another case is a group of female trainees known as A-GROUP by other trainees in different companies. They're not settled into an official group, but are the only other trainees SEM had, most leaving at this rate. Their case is a pity, but many are new, very differently to the already-veteran OZONE members.
So what idea did he have? Take in the remaining members of OZONE, remaining trainees, and rewrite them as a co-ed group; the brand new of 2018, and uses another means of function in debuting them; social media. Leaks and hints were dropped here and there to the remaining OZONE fans, little scandals... that wouldn't hurt, right? Music could always go second. The appeal to uni fans, along with the fact that OZONE members and these trainees wouldn't leave, anyways.
Except that all co-ed groups known have disbanded completely. Nothing is a win-win situations, and all but Yongjun were counting down months before they filed bankruptcy. But hey, at least have fun meeting your "unusually energetic group" before you tried holding your tissues out, man.
