A Work Of Heart
Description
There are two parts of this story.
Part One
Kyuhyun and Seohyun are happily married. When someone asks them when they first met, they think back to their love story and the hardships they faced.
Kyuhyun always had a great visual memory. He could remember almost all of the things he had seen and detail as small as the feathers of birds and as big as the clouds in the sky. And he used it to make art. Sketches, paintings, little wooden sculptures. He could do it. But there was a problem with his memory as well. He couldn't connect time or names to certain places or people. His best friend, Changmin, explained it as just a bunch of pictures of memories in his head, but there was no time sequence and there was no name to those memories. They were just memories with no order. And this caused a problem for past relationships and friendships.
Seohyun was always an ambitious person. She had a cool job that allowed her to travel from time to time. So she enjoyed herself as she went around Europe, Asia, America, and just around the world to take in the landscapes, the cultures, and the adventure. But she was so used to it that she didn't see a need for a relationship. Not to say she didn't think it would happen, but to have a relationship during those times might be difficult. She'd have to travel and where would her man be? She'd have to leave him alone. That would make her feel bad and when she thought even more about it, the loneliness would be a possible reason to cheat. Why bother with the pain?
They remembered their first meeting, which was in Paris. They recalled the whole trip, in fact, as it was quite an adventure full of love and hope for the best as they struggled with their own problems.
Part Two
The hardships did not stop after that point. Of course, every couple goes through conflicts. This part follows them in their marriage after they recalled their love story.
Kyuhyun loved his wife so very much. She was the one he would lean on, she was the one who would help him remember names and the dates of certain events. She didn't mind helping him. That was one of the many reasons he loved her. He'd do anything to please her. But when she tells him that she wants to have a child with him, he gets confused with himself. He had always wanted to be a father at some point. However, he didn't know if he was ready. He thought about his memory problem and he was truthfully ashamed of it. What could he possibly offer to the child with his condition? He felt he'd be a terrible father. He gets worried and their whole "having a child" decision gets rather delayed because of this.
Seohyun loved him so much. And she wanted to have children with him while also being able to share a deeper intimacy than the other times they made love. Kyuhyun was a charming man in his own way, what with his witty remarks and clever jokes. There was no doubt that any other woman could fall for that. And perhaps, another woman did. So when Seohyun notices one of Kyuhyun's customers, a young and attractive woman, is looking at him and smiling at him the way she shouldn't be, she becomes extremely paranoid. She didn't want to believe that he could love any other woman but her. She wanted to believe that he loved her and only her, and that it would stay that way forever. Jealousy rises a little bit as the story continues.
Through the years, everyone's faith and love is tested. And everyone can get through it. All it takes is a work of heart.
Foreword
Hello, guys! :) So I thought of two parts for this story because well... the first part came to my mind after listening to a kpop song, the other one came while I was trying to go to sleep. Yeah, I don't know why.
I would tell you what that kpop song is (I really do like it, but it's pretty old), however, I feel that it would spoil part one of the story. I hope I can get the story done well because I really like the ideas.
Hope you will all enjoy!
