Poster editing tips + Batch 12 posters
deconstruct:Hi. Bc i'm feeling stressed, i literally feel a tiny pain on the top of my left brain, so I had to, like, calmdown for now and think of other things. And the music I used for a speedart I made just played, so why not sharing some of my own tips/things that I do in poster making? I don't have much illustrated step-by-step examples since I'm only taking a short break. hehe
Tip #1:
In doing perspective type of posters, always remember the person closer or in front should always have the biggest face, bc irl, the person closest to your face--has a goddamn big face. Height matters. Let's take D.O and Chanyeol for example, one a bit short and one tall. If D.O is in front, there's a chance that Chanyeol would still have the higher height since he's tall. But that entirely depends on how far you think Chanyeol is. If he's like a feet closer to D.O, then I think Chanyeol should be a bit taller still than D.O. BUT remember, D.O should still have the bigger face since he's in front. If Chanyeol's more than a meter away, then it's only natural that he's smaller. BUT, if he's elevated, then he's smaller but higher (elevated like in a hill, second floor, mountain etc.). When sizing a face, every centimeter matters.
Tip #2:
In doing minimalist type of posters, I think it's obvious--be minimalistic haha. Choose 2-3 tones. That's it.
Tip #3:
I don't get much remark about fonts (which is fine haha), but font matters!!! Font itself
