KIM YERI

16 years old, sophomore.

Yeri has long brown hair, pale skin and dark eyes. She is quiet, doesn't like drawing attention to herself much, but when she is with friends she is very bubbly and funny. She likes books and science, but she is also a great dancer. After gaining weight during holidays, her eating habits become affected.

 

KIM SUNGGYU

18 years old, senior.

Sunggyu is Yeri's older brother, and people say they look very alike, with the same eyes and skin color. He is the president of the Student Counsil, he's strict with Yeri and very serious, but loves her a lot. He loves to sing and makes little concerts for his sister.

 

LIM SOORI

16 years old, sophomore.

Soori is Yeri's best friend at Woollim High. She has colorful hair that is always changing. She is loud and strong, but also very short, and is part of the track team of the school. Also her hobbies include baking and making Yeri try her inventions.

 

KIM MYUNGSOO

16 years old, sophomore.

Myungsoo is Yeri's lab partner, he has black hair and eyes, and is very quiet and misterious. He's very good-looking, and girls are always confessing to him but he never accepts them. Myungsoo is part of the Student Counsil, and he is usually seen with a camera in his bag.

 

LEE SUNGJONG

15 years old, freshman.

Yeri first meets Sungjong under the username "lemonjjong" and finds out he is a very determined and outgoing person. He assists Woollim High but she doesn't know. She also doesn't know how he looks like, but they become friends through the internet.

 

Other characters will be introduced as the story developes.

 

:: FOREWORD ::

<< The first thing Yeri noticed that morning was that the zipper of her skirt and a little too tight when she pulled it up. Curious, she went to stand in front of the full body mirror, searching for an explanation--her skirt had always been on the loose side, and she usually had to fold the waist to make it stay put.

She didn't look any different, but, maybe she had gained weight? It was a fact that she ate a lot during the Christmas holidays, but she hadn't put much thought to it until now. Someone knocked on her dor and Yeri ran to cover her chest with her blouse before someone spoke.

"Yeri-ah! Hurry up, we'll be late!" it was her brother, and a quick glance at the clock brought her back to reality. Dissmissing her earlier thoughts, she finished getting dressed and went down to have breakfast before school. >>

Hello everyone! I'm Erin and this is the first story I'm posting, so nervous! This is not your regular High School Crush story, but I admit I'll use some clichés we all enjoy once in a while. I hope you like it, and I'll be posting the first chapters very soon. Also I want to thank my best friend Allison for encouranging me to write this fanwork. This story will deal with some strong issues such as eating disorders, depression, and self-harming. If any of those triggers you, I will recommend you not to read it. I intent to write every aspect of it, how it affects the one's who suffer from it and the one's around them, and some parts will be from personal experience. I don't mean to make any of you triggered or to make fun of mental health.
