The story starts off with two childhood friends, Junsu and Nizza, who will be separated by fate. Even if they don't want to, they still have to because it was a decision made by Junsu's parents. But before they had separated, they made necessary goodbyes and promises. One of the promises is that they will meet again under that tree after twenty years.

But as expected, one came back and patiently waited while the other did not for some unknown reasons. As time flew by, patience came to an end so everything's falling from where they should be.

Could the 'Waiting Game' withstand the challenges that a childhood memory promised?...
Or will it be able to give up and let go of the past to move on with the present?
