Ok Hyeran was known as a criminal defense lawyer. Numerous times she had single-handedly won the falsely accused their freedom. Today she was staring at a bunch of numbers on a piece of paper. Hyeran shook her head and reminded herself that she was helping to bring a corrupt lawyer to justice and that that was just as dignified.

It had been almost a month but the case Taekwoon had come to her with was beginning to draw to a close. It had seemed like a small matter at first, when the man who had formerly been accused of murder came to her office with documents outlining unpaid compensation money and a few errors the man had found in various other payments at his old company. After a little digging Hyeran had found this happening across the board, with Taekwoon being far from the only victim of a dishonest system. 

The black-haired beauty had made several appearances now at Hyeran’s firm, putting a shocked expression on Hongbin’s face the first time he saw Taekwoon leaving the lawyer’s office. To Hongbin, Taekwoon was an intimidating, likely dangerous potential murderer and possibly the most peculiar man he had ever met.
