I watched him pacing around the kitchen to make sure everything is ready for the table, while having a playful banter with the staff he made sure to set up my plate extra carefully.

He smiled. Before turning around and seeing me entering the kitchen.

And I hated him with every cell in my body for loving me this much.

“Yunho ah…”

He was annoyingly cheery.

“I made your favorite”.

I know. I eyed the decorated plate that sat on the table for me.

“I’m late…”

“Oh… will you not be eating breakfast then”

“I don’t have time”

“Yunho ah..”

“I’m leaving…”

“Wait… just for a second then” He rushes to open the pantry again.

Leave yunho… don’t let him hold you back. Leave him and break him. But I was still in the same place. Unable to move because he asked me to wait.

“Here…”

He passed me a box.

“I packed some of the foods, don’t skip meals yunho ah… you already have gastritis.”

I couldn’t say no. I took the box and rushed to the door. Leave him.

“Take care yunho ah.”

I get in to the car and hit the accelerator hard with the intention of leaving him. With the intention of escaping his love.

And yet I caught the final words he whispered to the wind.

“Be safe and come back to me.”
