In the remnants of what used to be a bustling city, one community thrives in the midst of the ravages of the end. This family decides to start humanity anew.

Formerly known worldwide as the Liancourt Rocks - Dokdo (in Korean) or Takeshima (in Japanese) Island - its Eastern Islet (Dongdo/Mejima) surrounds them.

The protagonists' homebase, the old hotel has served them, and their visitors, well. It is surrounded by other hills and it is easy to get lost if not guided.

Only a few miles down the hills, there is a small town that, with dodging of the infected, still has basic necessities hidden in the chaos of remains.

The Borderlands, as the girls christened, are the areas of the island that are either not yet explored or infested and, thus, too dangerous to venture to alone.
