Jongkook went down from Jihyo's penthouse in sorrow. His heart ached. It hurts him when he heard Jihyo said he meant nothing to her. On his way home, he kept on thinking. Why? Why his chest hurts when she asked him to get loss? After all things they have been through. From the cold ice queen to the warm and lovely Jihyo. It took time. It took several months until Jihyo could hang out with him comfortably. Sure she meant a lot to him and there were times when he wished he could be more than just a brother to her.

He walked down from the elevator and went to the nearest bus stop. During his way home, he can't think straight as Jihyo's words still lingering through his mind. After all things they have been through, it meant nothing to her. Did she really mean her words just now?

"I'm home" Jongkook said when he entered his house. His mom and his sister are currently sitting on the dining room having their dinner.

"Oppa! We thought you're going to skip dinner with us" Ah-ran said when welcoming him. Jongkook quickly took a seat in front of her and his mother.

"Ah. Ne" Jongkook replied while placing his backpack on the couch before going to the dining table, joining both his mom and his sister.

"Eomma. I can do it myself" Jongkook said when his mom was trying to scoop some rice for him.

"You looked so tired, Jongkook ah. Take a rest sometime. Don't overwork yourself" His mother said worriedly since he used to work 2 part time jobs months ago and he quit one of them since he applied a job as an intern in a architecture department in a developing property company. Along with his subjects and final assignment that are not easy to be done, he's sure using his energy a lot and what happened earlier with Jihyo, sure adding more pressure to him.

"Keurae. Eat a lot okay"

"Ne. I'll eat well" Jongkook said before placing a spoonful of rice into his mouth.

"Oppa. How's that eonni?" Ah-Ran asked in sudden.

"What eonni?" Jongkook asked in confused.

"That eonni you brought home!" Ah-Ran replied and his mom looked confused.

"Ah. That one" Jongkook said and sighed. Somehow they realized the change of his expression.

"Is that the girl who you brought home in the early morning?" His mom added and Jongkook could just forced a smile.

"For some reason, I miss her, oppa" Ah-Ran said.

"Me too" He mumbled.

"Wait, what?" Ah-Ran asked again in surprised.

"What?" Jongkook tried to be as casual as he can but seems like he's so bad in acting.

"Jongkook ah. Do you like that girl?" His mom asked and he choked directly.

"Eomma. What do you mean?"

"Jongkook ah. I'm your eomma. I have been knowing you since you're born. How can I don't know about the way you speak?"
"Eomma. It's not like that" He denied.

"Jongkook ah. I maybe don't know what kind of girl she is but with you who seems to be so picky about girls. I can tell that she must be a good woman. You're grown up already. You're even old enough to build a household. So, it's the time already for you to find a lover." His mom said.

"Jongkook ah. Don't lie to yourself or you'll regret it later
