The Club of the Poisoned Apples

Description

Three girls.
Three desks at the end of the class.
Not either one of them is paying attention to the teacher.
The pretty girl on the left is drawing little hearts at the border of the page of her book. She looks quite bored.
The one in the center is looking at something under the desk. She’s got her phone and she’s busy playing with it.
The last girl on the right is resting her head on her arms. She’s got her earphones on and she’s sleeping.

Everyone's got to live with those sides of his character that he doesn't want to show off.
Those girls have always tried to hide huge parts of their personality, habits that have been with them for a very long time.
If you ask them, they will tell you that they were once pure and pretty girls, but they got poisoned growing up.
Together, now, they call themselves the Club of the Poisoned Apples.

( but sssh, that’s a secret! )

Foreword

Jang Yeeun

Jang Yeeun

Cute and bubbly, she’s always been the most popular in her group of friends… well, she would’ve been if it wasn’t for her issue with bad words. When she was young her mother used to wash with soap (literally) every time a not-so-girly word would come out from . The problem was that the more this drastic solution was applied, the worst the situation became. During her last year of middle school she decided that she needed a change. Now, if you talk to her, it looks like she’s taking some time before answering your questions or simply making a statement. She’s not some kind of dumb, she just has to filter her every sentence to hide the fact that she is, probably, the dirtiest mouth in the school.

Once her brother told her that in our dangerous world only the strongest are going to survive and she didn’t understood at that time what he meant when he said that. It didn’t took her that long, though, she was only a little girl when she found out how she needed to fight for herself to win. She was in her first year of kindergarten when Jeong Jungkook throw a ball right in her stomach and it struck her right in that moment, when her fist hit his right cheek, that she wanted to be a strong and brave girl. From that moment on no one have ever tried to make a fool of her anymore, she was the bossy there and the others were not supposed to mess with her. She’s been part of the volleyball team for quite a lot of time now, under suggestion of her mother, for her to calm down and try to be a little less violent but, as she says, when you’ve got a bad temper there’s not much you can do about it.

Lee Suji

Lee Suji (Halla)

Always the quietest, always the most reserved, people in her class have questioned more than once why Halla wouldn’t talk to anyone except for her closest friends. They reminded her being quite an outgoing girl when she was in elementary school. The change happened when she was in her second year of middle school, when her older brother left for college, leaving his computer behind, to be exact. There are videos, in a nineteen year old boy’s pc, that not every young girl is ready to see. Halla watched them all and, to be quite honest, she even liked them. Is there anything wrong with being a girl who loves and o? No, she told herself, but no one has to know about it. And that’s how she stopped talking to the majority of her classmates. There was no way she would have let the bullies in her school, the teachers and her parents know about the fact that she had, probably, a dirty mind that was worse than the boys’s.
