“Are you okay in there?” Jihoon asked warily. He, Mingyu, and Soonyoung were playing video games just moments ago until Soonyoung yelled “pause” and scrambled for Mingyu’s bathroom. A short while later the tall and short boy were standing outside the bathroom door listening  to Soonyoung empty the contents of his stomach. He had been like this lately; running to the bathroom to throw up. Either during class or just hanging out. He even threw up at the restaurant last week just from smelling Minghao’s fish soup. At first they thought it was food poisoning or a stomach flu, but it's been three and a half weeks already. Jihoon grew mildly worried for his best friend.

“Yeah...I'll be okay,” Soonyoung gave a weak smile and flopped back down on the bed and grabbed for his controller.

“No way mister, you need to go home and rest. I swear if you get me sick I won't be able to be around Wonwoo and then none of us are happy!” Mingyu whined making both his friends roll their eyes at their lovestruck friend.

“Have you been to the doctor?” Jihoon asked  ignoring their taller friend.

“Yea, they say nothing is wrong…” Soonyoung admitted quietly. His two friends rubbed their chins thoughtfully.

“Maybe…” they both turned to look at Mingyu curious to what he might say. “Maybe...maybe he's pregnant?”

The next sound from Mingyu, was the thumping of his two friends knocking him upside the head.

“So yeah, when anyone has any legit suggestions I’ll be waiting.” Soonyoung scoffed and fell back on the bed.

“No, no, hear me out!” Mingyu recovered while rubbing the slight bump he was given. “Lately, Soonyoung hyung has been throwing up a lot and sleeping a lot and eating a lot-”

“So? Anything new?” Jihoon teased earning a small ‘hey! That's not nice!’ from the blonde.

“Well, it's the same symptoms as a pregnant lady!” Mingyu argued.

“Yeah, but the only problem is I’M not a lady.” Soonyoung rolled his eyes.

“Plus, he and Seokmin probably haven't even done that so there is no way he could be,” Jihoon laughed just thinking about it. Meanwhile, Soonyoung shied away with a crimson face because he and Seokmin have, indeed, done that. They've been doing that everyday. However, he didn't have the heart nor the guts to tell Jihoon about that.

"Hey, never say never,” Mingyu alluded and then got up and walked out the room. When he returned he returned with a white box with blue and pink designs on it.

"Is that a...is that a pregnancy test?” Soonyoung snapped at the taller.

“Yeah, it's my sister’s, she keeps it just in case,” Mingyu nodded. You could physically see the tired look on Jihoon and Soonyoung’s face as they were 100% done with their special idiot. They both rose their hand to give him another wop upside the head but the younger had escaped and hid behind his bed. “All I'm saying is if you're confident you wouldn't be scared to test it out!” Mingyu offered the test like some sort of peace treaty. Just as Jihoon was getting ready to shut down Mingyu again Soonyoung took the test and confirmed he was going to do it.

"Are you sure?” Jihoon’s eyebrows lifted softly in surprise.

“Yeah, I mean it's kind of funny, we know the outcome so I'll be fine,” the fair headed boy smiles before going into the bathroom and looking at the instructions. Jihoon and Mingyu just looked at each other and some cartoon that they weren't really watching because they had the volume really low just in case Soonyoung would call for help.

Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Soonyoung was having an internal battle. He knew that there was not a snowball's chance in hell that he, a member of the male gender, was pregnant-could ever be pregnant. However, he couldn’t shake the fluttering feeling in the pit of his stomach or cold sweat breaking out all over his body that something, he didn't know what, was there.

When he got with Seokmin, he was sure they were soul mates. At first he could only think of him only has a best friend but as they got older and entering college made him realized that the feelings he had weren't that of a friend. To be honestly, in the beginning he was disappointed, he did want a nice girl to settle with and have as many kids with. But, Seokmin wasn't a girl and he couldn't give Soonyoung the children he so desired. Despite this, he does give Soonyoung his love and affection and it's so much that Soonyoung decided a long time ago that they didn't need a child to bring more love into their relationship.

But there's always that nagging feeling.

“Are you….okay?” Mingyu knocked at the door startling Soonyoung.

"Uh-uh yeah!” Soonyoung’s voice came out high pitched and strangled as he tried to compose himself. His two friends exchanged glances and shrugged. After a moment, Soonyoung finally peed on the stick (was not an easy task let me tell you) and left it on the counter to test the sample.

“So what did it say?”

“Dunno, gotta wait 2 minutes for it to finish and five minutes for the most accurate result,” Soonyoung explained to them as he took a seat between the both of them. There was a moment of silence before there was gut busting laughter.

"BWAHAHAH!” Mingyu tilted over slapping his knee. “I can't believe you actually did that!!”

"I...can't...believe it...either!!” Jihoon was gasping and clutching at his stomach while hollering.

"Right! There's nooo way!” Soonyoung managed to say through this screaming and wiping a single tear from his eye. “Hey, Mingyu, go check the test...see if it's….POSITIVE!” he guffawed.

"HAHAHAHAHaaaaa!!” Jihoon fell off the couch pulling Soonyoung along with him. They couldn't help it, it was a funny concept. A man getting pregnant, so not happening. However, Mingyu returned with a much more serious look on his face.

“Uh...hyung…”

“Hahahaaha! What?” Soonyoung replied still laughing.

“Hyung...this is yours right?” Mingyu questioned.

“Of course, who else just used a pregnancy test?!” Jihoon answered. “Maybe I should do one too, I've been feeling sick lately!! Ahahaha!” just like that the laughter continued. However, Mingyu wasn't laughing. He was still in a state of shock. He grabbed Jihoon and shook him out of it. “Hey! Who the hell do you thin-”

Mingyu shoved the test into his face making the smaller curtle in disgust at the thought that Soonyoung had just pissed on it, but got over it when he saw the result. Their eyes opened wide and they looked at Soonyoung.

“Ahahah...ha...haha...what?” Soonyoung stopped laughing seeing as he was being watched.

"Soonyoung I think you better sit down.” Mingyu suggested.

“I am sitting.” Soonyoung replied defensively. He wasn't sure if he liked the tone or the faces they were pulling. He just assumed his friends were s and were pranking him. He pursed his lips suspiciously.

"Now you gotta promise you won't freak out...okay?” Mingyu asked calmly only freaking Soonyoung out more.

"I'm calm now give me the damn test!” Soonyoung reached out to grasp the tool from his hands. “Damn you and your long limbs!” Soonyoung cursed as Mingyu held the test high above them with his advantageous height.

"Listen, you just need to not freak on us okay?” Jihoon held out a tiny pinky and Soonyoung rolled his eyes before linking his own with the other. After Jihoon looked him in he eyes he gave Soonyoung the test.

“See?” Soonyoung sighed. “Double lines-not pregnant. Just like it's supposed to say,” the blonde laughed.

"Uh….hyung…” Mingyu gave him the instructions. “That's not what it means.”

Soonyoung paused and reread the directions.

‘One line = not pregnant.’

‘Two lines = pregnant’

“...Oh .”

First off this story is inspired by a gif set and dedicated to my lovely RockabillyHippie we were both thirsting for a soonseok + Samuel fic and they were like non-existent so sorry if it's not as great as you all expected it, I wrote it really fast but I hope you like it and it inspires for you guys to make this a thing. ^.^

How do you guys think Soonyoung told Seokmin? And how do you think he reacted?

For me I think Soonyoung would have did some sort of dance incorporating it in some type of way like all baby like moves (crawling, crying, and complete with bibs and diapers) baby outfits (Chan would look so cute I cry) and a remix of songs that use the word ‘baby’ in it and I think at first our dear Seokminie would think its a joke because obviously Soonyoung's a man and he's checked that (many, many times) then when he sees the doctor’s note he will just stare into space like “I'm gonna be a dad.” “Oh I'm gonna be a father” “how cool is that?” “Wait not cool.” “I don't have any of my together!!” “I'm gonna need at least two jobs just to support all three of us!” “We need a house!” “I gotta marry Hyung- I mean I was planning on doing that anyway but more-so now because…” *sighs contently* “I'm gonna be a father” and then he won't stop smiling like ever It'll be the biggest dopiest smile ever and he'll be so psyched to tell everyone because "My fiance is going to have a baby!" "We're going to be a family!!!". He’ll make sure to always be by hyung’s side and make sure he gets to eat everything he wants and only be nice to him because Soonyoung will cry a lot over little things and bruh….this is such a cute idea I'm gonna cry.
