Chapter 19:
"At last it is over!" Taehyung howled down the school campus. A few students turned their attention to him and glared at him He waved his hands up in the air. Minhee chuckled as she watched Bobby join Taehyung as well.
"Winter break here we come!" Bobby chuckled.
Jungkook stood close to Minhee and occasionally glanced at the smaller girl.
Minhee in the other hand didn't notice his actions towards her.
"So what will we be doing?" Taehyung asked, his eyebrows moved up and down.
"Who knows?" Bobby shrugged.
They continued walking in the cold winter until they reached Bobby's car.
The five got in the car. They drove away to start their winter break.

It was Sunday afternoon. Jungmee rushed out of her room and bumped into Hoseok.
"Woah slow down. What's up with you?" He chuckled.
"Nothing." She laughed "It's just I am hanging out with Taehyung today. Well not really hanging out but helping him babysit."
"Taehyung needs help babysitting?" Hoseok raised an eyebrow. "Back when I was in school last year I don't remember him needing such help. Ever."
Jungmee shook her head. "Hoseok don't make me doubt."
"Do you like Taehyung?" Hoseok asked leaning in towards Jungmee.
"What?" Jungmee's eyes expanded "No. He is very kind we are just friends."
"So you still like Seokjin huh?" Hoseok's voice lowered. "I haven't heard of him in almost a month."
Jungmee felt a sharp pain in her heart when she heard his name. The past two weeks she has been sending him text messages hoping to get a response. Every time she opened her inbox it said: No messages. Maybe he had moved on?
"No." Jungmee lied. "I have no feelings for Seokjin. What so ever." She looked down at her shoes.
"Oh." Hoseok knew she was lying. He knew she still liked that boy.
"I have to go now." Jungmee said changing topics "I will be back home around eight?"
"Okay then be careful!" Hoseok waved. He watched her bolt down the stairs and slam the door shut.
Jungmee walked slowly down the pavement engrossed in her music. She didn't want to think about Seokjin anymore. He was gone. It hurt her so much. She didn't understand why he left her so soon. One day he told her he liked her and the next he completely ditches her. The whole walk to the park she thought about Seokjin.
She sat on a bench waiting for Taehyung. She continued fiddling with her phone occasionally glancing up. She came too early.
In the parking lot a black truck was parked. He was starring at Jungmee the whole time. He wondered why she was alone at the park. He wanted to approach her and hug her. She looked too different to him. Her hair got lighter. Her face got skinner. He wondered if she had eaten. He watched as Jungmee continued looking at her phone. Was she going to text him? He obviously had feelings for her and each day they were becoming stronger. His phone suddenly began to ring, it was time for him to go home. He his car and drove away.
"Jungmee!" Taehyung exclaimed running towards her. Jungmee glanced up and saw a small boy following from behind.
"Taehyung!" She waved.
"This is my cousin Dongwon." Taehyung pointed to the peculiar boy.
Jungmee casually strolled over to the child. "Hi Dongwon. My name is Jungmee. I am Taehyung's friend."
A smile formed on Dongwon's face. "Nice to meet you noona!" He reached in and gave her a hug.
"He's the huggable kind." Taehyung smiled.
"Nice." Jungmee chuckled.
"Where should we go?"
"I want to go to the playground noona!" The smaller boy jumped up and down.
"Lets go?" She looked over at Taehyung who was starring at her with compassion.
"Sure." Taehyung smiled.
They walked over to the playground and watched Dongwon run off to the slides.
"Want to go sit over there?" Taehyung pointed to the swings.
Jungmee nodded her head. They walked over to the swings and took a seat. Jungmee swayed slightly with the cold winter air. Taehyung looked up at the sky and chuckled loudly.
"What's so funny?" Jungmee asked
"I just remember how the first day I met you I fell on top of you." He covered his face and his shoulder began to shake as he was laughing silently.
"You find that funny?" Jungmee slightly nudged him. "You jerk! I got bruises because of you."
"It's okay I also got a bruise." Taehyung smiled "In here." He pointed to his heart. Jungmee's eyebrows raised up. He began to chuckle again.
"Weirdo." Jungmee rolled her eyes.
"It's good to be different you know?" Taehyung smiled.
"Oh really?" Jungmee shook her head "Why is that?"
"Because it be boring to be like everyone else and fit a certain standard just because of society. Being different is cool because you don't have to compare yourself with anyone. You don't have to hide your true colors." Taehyung leaned closer to her. He exhaled loudly. "What are your true colors?"
Jungme turned to face him. Her face was inches away from his. "Not like yours." She moved away and slowly swung herself.
"And you know my colors?" Taehyung chuckled.
"No." Jungmee cleared .
"So I see." Taehyung nodded slightly "I want to know your true colors." He turned to her. "It be nice to get to know you."
A smile plastered across Jungmee's face. Taehyung could see she had her retainer on.
"Weirdo." That is all she managed to respond. Taehyung smiled back.

Minhee decided it be best to go to the mall today. Her sister wasn't going to be home. Yoongi was going to stay in the basement all day working on his music. Hoseok left the house early for some secretive reason. And her father and step-mother left for some grand opening of a building complex.
Minhee packed up her small purse and bolted out the door. She decided to take the bus to the mall it only going to be a 10-15 minute ride.
She sat on a seat and just watched as the world before her disappeared down a dark tunnel. Suddenly her thoughts engrossed on Jimin. Would he be at the mall again? Would he be with another girl? Would he talk to her? Would he try to make a move on her? All these questions were forming in her head. She didn't understand why she felt this need to see him. Jimin hasn't texted her since the weekend has started.
"No." She whispered to herself "Jimin is a player. He is a sick boy." She thought about all those girls she has heard at school say things about Jimin. Bad things to be more exact.
Once she got to the mall she marched to the food court. She looked around hoping not to spot anyone. Luckily she didn't.
She marched to a smoothie shop and bought herself a mango-pineapple smoothie. She continued roaming around the mall occasionally walking into the stores.
Minhee felt bored. Going to the mall by herself wasn't fun. It was boring and worthless. She decided to sit back at a bench and just watch the little kids gathered around the fountain. They were throwing coins into the fountain and making wishes. Her eyes roamed around until she spotted a familiar figure.
Jungkook was sitting on the edge of the fountain. His hair was combed back and dyed dark purple with black. He was wearing a black shirt and some dark blue ripped jeans. Minhee had to admit he was very attractive. He had a sone sort of notebook in his hand.
Minhee decided to approach him. Anyways they were more comfortable around each other now. Jungkook was engrossed in his own thoughts that he didn't notice Minhee standing right in front of him. Minhee could hear the bass of his loud song being played. He was listening to some type of rock.
She poked his arm. He gazed up and his pupils expanded.
"Hey there!" She waved slightly.
"Oh hey." Jungkook took off one ear bud from his ear. And lowered the volume of his music on his phone. "What you doing here?" Minhee asked tilting her head to the side.
"I was bored." Jungkook stated. "I had nothing else to do."
"Ah" Minhee nodded "What about your friends?"
"Taehyung is babysitting with your sister. He said he it was a date." Jungkook rolled his eyes "I don't see how it is a date."
"A date?" Minhee chuckled "How is babysitting a date?"
"I don't know." Jungkook shrugged. "He really likes your sister. Don't tell her though."
"I promise." Minhee smiled "What about Jimin?"
"I think he got a job." Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair.
"A job?" Minhee asked interested. At least she knew he wasn't going on stupid little "meetings" with girls. She didn't understand why she cared, he was none of her buisness.
"Yeah." Jungkook gazed at Minhee with suspicion. "Some coffee shop close to his home. He told me he was going to start working soon. And that he would not be going on his little dates anymore."
"Oh." Minhee felt relieved for some reason. "That is good."
Jungkook nodded his head. He looked down at his sketchbook.
