The journey to the mysterious ‘the dead ocean’ commenced. Fairies and knights with their magic powers created a ship and embarked on it. The ship flew in the sky, racing through the winds. The fairies sat together depressed, thinking of stella and the pain she is in. Thankfully, the knights were with them comforting them that everything will turn out just fine. They recollected the quotes glarreath gave them feeling sorry for his mischief of wasting one of their precious wishes.

Famous for its azure was the primordial ocean,

Lost its touch, now labeled as ‘the dead ocean’

Find the reason for it being barren and bleak

Hence, revive it, make it leak.

As ocean flows again, blue and high,

Appears a throng of creatures, dangerous and wry.

Luring the sailors through the chorus of their jocund voice,

Can be heard an enchanting music and song,

Terror will take over, than feeling rejoice,

Leading into the depths of the kingdom lost long.

The game was getting tougher with the passing of time. The ship raced at an enormous speed soaring through the blue skies. The fairies and knights through the quotes stated by glarreath decided to board the ship, also with an intention to save their energy for the later use. They were sure it is going to get hectic. Praying for stella’s safety they finally arrived at the barren land, ‘the dead ocean’.

As the destination arrived, the ship landed on the ground. Fairies and knights and stood up and watched the vast dry land. They never expected to see an ocean which did not have a single drop of water. Carefully looking around, they stepped on the ground. Suho squatted down and touched the ground as expected the land was dry “No water at all” he said, a sigh escaped his mouth. A tear escaped from naeun’s eyes as she spotted dead fish in the sand. Sensing, this all happening because of that evil fairy queen their blood boiled.

“Let’s start” baekhyun suggested they should look for clues to restore this dead ocean. The others agreed and decided to search for the way to resurrection. They searched everywhere but the solution still wasn’t found. Disheartened they gathered together. “The answer must be a simple one as there was no reason stated in the quotes too” suggested chanyeol. Agreeing to his words eunji suggested using their powers in order to bring water from this dead ocean. She was sure it exists, if there was a possibility of finding water in a burning desert then why not an ocean. It was natural that beneath this dry and drought land there are remnants of water.

Weilding his sword kyungsoo bowed a seed in the land after searching for a particular place. Anticipating his move suho used his water power. Bomi helped him too. Baekhyun used his light power on it. Hayoung gave a hand with the sunlight. Within no time the plant grew. Naeun touched it gently “Show me the way to the water” she requested. As if listening to her the plant extended its roots towards a particular direction. Impressed chorong flew to the direction which the plant guided. The others followed. Eunji froze the ground. Namjoo and sehun collectively threw big boulders deep into the ground. As soon it hit the ground a drop flew and fell on chanyeol’s face. Puzzled he touched it gently “Water” he muttered under his breath “Guys, water” he shouted gathering their attention.

They gathered together performing their magical power and soon a spray of water came gushing from the ground. As they found the hope, they worked harder. The water splashed from all directions and soon it flowed uncontrollably. The ocean was full again. Proudly, they jumped onto their ship, implementing their plan. If what the quote suggested is true then they need to embark on this ship and sail on the waters of this aqua blue ocean. They were now in their human forms.

Silence filled in the air; a second later instead of voices they expected, joined a variety of aquatic creatures. Again, the ocean woke up from its dormant state. They glanced at their side where a mermaid appeared; her eyes resembled that of the ocean, her hair orange similar to that of a sun setting in the background. They were delighted to meet her, looking at her waving at them they were happy. The mermaid rather had this frightened look rather than a thankful one. She shook her hands aggressively telling them to go away. The fairies and knights now realized that she wasn’t waving at them but warning them.

Not even a second has passed after registering her warning; they were attacked from all the sides. The group fell on the ship as a big wave crashed their ship. Hanging on to the ship to save their dear lives as the waves grew violent; they were greeted by the unknown singing voices. Broadning their eyes, the fairies and knights held on the ship tightly and peeked through it.  “Siren!!” shouted sehun warning them about their dangerous attacks.

The sirens were dangerous creatures who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and singing voices. Sirens were depicted as beautiful women, whose bodies and their voices, are seductive.

“Quickly, plug your ears. Do not listen to their song” ordered kai. The fairies and knights followed the advice immediately plugging their ears with beeswax which was available in their ship. They were well prepared. Each of them immediately tied themselves with the rope tighty to the ship. Sirens continued with their songs, their enchanting music continued ringing in the entire ocean.

Apparently, according to the story of the Odysseus, his curiousity to listen to siren’s voices made him sail with his sailors. Telling them to plug their ear, he ordered them to tie him around with a rope. Listening to their melodious song he was enchanted. Begging them to untie him but his sailors did not, ultimately the siren flung into the water and disappeared. It is said that if somebody listens to their singing and escaped sirens are bound to die.

The gang of sirens was well aware of this repetitive and old idea of escape. They came up with a plan. Their singing continued. Even the faint sound of their singing which they could hear was also captivating. Suddenly, the ship made a sudden movement. They were startled as the ship turned to one side, a spool of fish with a saw looking, protruding mouth, entered the ship which was now half sunk and untied their ropes. Their earplugs fell out and they clearly could hear the siren’s song.

Taking immediate action they squatted down, shutting their ears hoping their voices die down but it was impossible for that to happen. The ship slowly went sinking. The fairies and knights fell into the water. As the sirens song came to the end the fairies and knights were completely out of their senses. Their eyes closed and they fell into the water together, sinking deep into the dead ocean. Gently floating in the water, the fairies and knights landed on the ocean bed (deepest part of the ocean). It was around 11000 mtrs below the surface of the ocean. Slowly, their bodies hit the bottom, landing on the ocean bed. Their bodies kept floating and they were unconscious. Scattered they fell each at a distance.

A faint voice can be heard in their minds. “Pe….pearl….wake up……pearl” bomi could hear a soothing voice calling her out. Even in her unconscious mind she could hear it. She was lying on the ground; her hair was floating with the water.

After a while, chorong opened her eyes slightly only to see a mysterious place submerged in the water. Her consciousness was back and in front of her was a new world.The lack of oxygen made it difficult for her to breathe. She tried to swim up but the surface was way too high.

Luckily, a bubble appeared around and it was now possible to breathe. Wondering who helped her she turned around only to see suho. Touched she swam into his arms “River”. Hugging her tightly also feeling relieved “Sparks, did you see the others?” he questioned.  Chorong shook her head saying she hasn’t seen anybody yet “We should search for them” she suggested. Both went in search of the others immediately.

They spotted chanyeol who was trapped in the bushes. Suho immediately helped him. Becoming conscious the first thing he asked was about eunji “Misty!!” he screamed, searching for her.  “Flare!! Here” eunji screamed in response. She was at her limit, the bubbles around was formed. Suho immediately helped her. The group then went in search of others; luckily they spotted hayoung and sehun.

“Glow, you can do it” encouraged sehun who was with her to swim upwards. “Whirl, it is impossible” she stated the fact. “Whirl” called chanyeol and they united. Collectively, they went to search of others. Suddenly, they saw a plant wrapped something and two pair of human legs was sticking out. Helping them out they realized they were kai and naeun. “Speed” naeun embraced him while he smiled back “Rose, I am fine” he assured also concerned about her.

Spotting others nearby they rushed to help them each. Kyungsoo was about to be into a big plants mouth becoming their dinner but namjoo immediately pulled him towards her “Brown, wake up” she gently tapped his cheeks and he was wide awake. Gasping for air as he was shocked, he was uncontrollable until they could feel a bubble around their mouths. Thanks to suho and the gang they were saved.

They collectively went in search of the remaining couple. Baekhyun was surrounded by the tiny fishes who were watching him puzzled as he was floating in the water unconscious.  Noticing him the group rushed to his side. He took a deep breath as suho helped him. Everybody was present there except bomi “Pearl?? Where is pearl?” he enquired tensedly, not spotting her.

Suddenly they saw a ray of light at a distance and immediately rushed together to find out the source. Upon arrival they could see bomi swimming towards them, behind her was a school of fishes, colourful and varied. “Gleam!! Guys!!” she cheerfully called them out. Baekhyun swam faster and took her into his arms “Pearl”. Now that they paid attention the light was all around her body.

“Why is a light coming out of you?” kai was puzzled. “Duh, i am a fairy of water. Ofcourse, i will shine in water” replied bomi happily. All laughed at her innocent answer. “Where are we by the way?” queried namjoo. “It is like a whole new world” expressed sehun looking around. The beauty of this so called underwater world was so pretty, that no appropriate words came out of their mouths to describe it. “No worries people, my friends here will tell us where we are exactly” bomi expressed pointing towards the fishes.

Naeun smiled and moved forward gently touching the big turtle she closed her eyes “Explain it to me” she requested. After a second she replied to the others who were waiting anxiously “It is the same lost kingdom the quote was talking about. The lost kingdom ‘Sirius’” she explained.

Eunji gasped “That means those sirens were helping us? I thought it was the opposite” she reasoned. “Sirius?? Don’t you think we heard of this name before?” queried hayoung.  “Not that of my knowledge” stated kyungsoo saying he doesn’t remember such a name. Bomi helped them each with her magic so that they can move freely under water.

A shoal of fishes swam towards them pulling them all along with force. They were taken away by their force. The colourful fishes, the blue ocean water, the corals reefs, the colorful gems stones along with the company of the beautiful mermaids and merman. It was ecstacy, a pure bliss which couldn’t ever dream of experiencing. They have never been so deep into the ocean before. As if a cherry on top, to discover a completely new underwater kingdom it was miraculous.

Following the fishes, they were led to a dark abyss. Abruptly the fishes stopped, as if telling them to proceed further without them. The fairies and knights gently kissed their aquatic friends and bid farewe
