Did he wait?
Foreword
I knocked on large wooden door.
“Come in”
I rested my hand on the door handle fearing to enter the room. But I just picked up the courage to open the door.
I walked into the office and bowed at the women sitting across the room. “You wanted to see me miss”
“Yes take a seat” she said not meeting my eyes.
I sat on the leather chair in front of her desk and finally decided to ask her the question that has been in my mind for awhile.
“Miss did I do something wrong?”
The headmistress took of her reading glasses off and finally met eyes with me. “I understand that you got in this school because of a scholarship right?”
I nodded at her.
“Then I'm giving you the opportunity to go back to the USA and do your course there” she said. I was taken aback by what she said. This can’t be because of….
“Miss….is the reason why you sending me away because of the relationship between me and your son?” please say no.
“Yes that is one of the reason if you don’t go then you’ll be kicked out of this school instead” she said. She...She can’t be serious right?
Don’t cry. Not here.
“Fine, I’ll leave” I said standing up and walking towards the door. I was about to open it until she said something which caused me to freeze.
“You’ll leave tomorrow morning”
Don’t cry. Not here. I kept repeating the same thing words in my head over and over again, but sadly it didn’t help. A tear ran down my cheek.
“I’ll pack my things” I said and walked out the room.
