Chapter 1: I think I read this one year ago but I don't know why I didn't comment or upvote- /mentally slaps myself. Anyway, I happen to find this story in my subscriptions list and decide to reread it again, and... wow. I love how Liyin and Jongdae have different outlooks in life, yet they blend so seamlessly when they stand on stage, performing. I love how Liyin is blatantly lying, and Jongdae knows it. I love how despite everything, Jongdae is still willing to lend her a listening ear, though Liyin feels guilty about it. And I love how Liyin can only watch her ex-partner chase his dreams, while she's still stuck in the bitter realms of reality. The howling of the wind echoes that very bitter fact.

Maybe it's due to the constraints of a one-shot, but I feel like the feelings would be more fleshed out if the ending is less abrupt, or if there's like a proper conclusion as to what happens in the end (maybe Liyin erases Jongdae off her contact list to indicate that she doesn't want to keep in contact with him anymore, for instance).

Anyways, there's really too little Chenyin fics around so I'm happy to read this again ; u ; Thank you for writing this fic <3

This is so beautifully written, I love how the ending is bittersweet, and incorporates the harsh reality of real life into it. Awesome use of the song lyrics too~
