“Tell me,” he says, “what happened that day?”

Minho is silent. He doesn’t say anything and his expression changes completely—there isn’t a sign of warmth in any of his features, and it makes Junmyeon squirm slightly in his seat. The seconds tick by, the tension, which had never existed between them, rising.

“I don’t know what you think about me, Minho”—he his lips—“but I’m tired of feeling confused and useless. I want to know.”

The doctor sits back, a sigh escaping his nose. “I think it’s time to finish this session.”

“But—“

“You are dismissed, Junmyeon.”
