"Eh?"

Kiyong stared at me confusingly.

I bet he almost spit out his food.

Aigoo. Why the heck did I just say that to him?!

He must be thinking that i'm really weird.

Just a while ago, I told him not to hold my hands.

BUT! That was before. We were just alone and no one else will see.

And now, someone will.

There's other people here now. Most especially "Them."

Kre, Dara. You said the right thing, majja! Breathe!

BUT! They're behind us. So technically, they won't see it.

It's useless.

Aigoo, why am I acting so weirdly?

And here I am saying random stuff like "Will you hold my hand?" all of a sudden?! Aigoo jinja!! Pabo!

In the midst of my tense argument with myself,

He held my hand.

He  always holds  my hand whenever people could see us.

It was uncomfortable at first, but we kinda gotten used to it now. Besides, nothing changes the fact that we are friends. 

But something feels different right now.

The way he's holding my hand,

It feels warm. 

Relieving. And calming. Reassuring.

And I feel safe.

My, this Kiyong. He even became my savior without him knowing. 

Or does he? Did he notice  how I reacted when those two came?

Andwae! He couldn't have. 

Aigoo. This is still awkward but having someone here with me is a huge relief.

Who knows what crazy thing I could've done if I was alone with those two. 

I felt relieved. 

Like something crazy just came out of me. 

I smiled at Kiyong.

Then suddenly....

Kiyong stared at me with wide eyes.

He was in shock. 

And i'm pretty sure "They" were staring at me too. 

And I wouldn't dare to look back and check. 

Kiyong was still holding my hand and his other hand flew over to his mouth. 

I can clearly see he was stopping himself from bursting out laughing. 

Andwae!! 

Kill me now juseyo.

Swallow me right now, Earth. Please!! 

This is so embarassing. 

Of all the times I could've "LITERALLY" let something off of me, I chose now?!

Damn Sandara Park! You really are something! Aigoo! Just kill yourself, araesseo?! 

Without anything in mind, I pulled my hand from Kiyong's grip.

I took a deep breath. His freaking eye smile while covering his laugh isn't helping. At all! 

I stood up, like a lightning bolt, and drooped my head down.

I can't look at anyone else while I try to escape and save face.

I was about to walk, or maybe even run, when...

Kiyong hugged from the back. 

His other arm dangled in front of me, while the other one rested on my head. 

"Aigoo. Neomu kiyowo." (So cute.) 

He said while hugging me. 

I looked up to him, and he gave me the biggest smile. 

"My girlfriend is so cute." Then patted my head. 

Mwoya?! What the heck is he trying to do?!
