Chapter Fifty Eight

Hearing Continued

Previously:

Dr. Hyunjoong nodded his head still writing in his notebook then asked: 

"Did you go out often with friends?" 

"I did... I used to see Heechul-hyung and Junsu weekly, but he would always get upset saying that I love my friends more than I love him." 

Jaejoong answered.

"You are doing great so far Jaejoong-shi.... " 

Dr. Hyunjoong said smiling to Jaejoong who nod back swallowing hard. 

"What happened after that Jaejoong-shi?" 

Hankyung asked. 

"Um... after that he was more irritable and short tempered... a lot of misunderstandings happened... he would make a huge problem each time I had an interview with a young male celebrity... sometimes to the extent of going to my workplace yelling at the manager or calling the guest that I had to interview or sending him threat letters... I had to quit my job at the end... and it did make things better for a while..." 

"did he lock you up in the house?" 

Dr. Hyunjoong asked. 

"At first no... I mostly stayed in the house while he went to work... I would go out to the market or to meet Junsu and Heechul Hyung..." 

Jaejoong sighed taking s deep breath before he continued: 

"I went out with Junsu once, having a cup of coffee in a nearby cafe... Junsu brought his new friend to meet me at that time, he was a foreigner who came here to work... he was a sweet friendly person.... I think he was from Italy..." 

Jaejoong looked up at Junsu and the other smiled and nod to him... and he smiled back gently before he said: 

"Junsu had to use the restroom at that time leaving me with the guy talking... I didn't see Siwon entering the place with his colleges until I was pulled from my seat and dragged out, that poor guy tried to help me but I told him to let it go seeing Siwon's face... that day was the first time Siwon had hit me... he accused me of cheating on him... and didn't even give me a chance to explain..." 

Jaejoong took a heavy breath fighting the stinging in hs eyes. 

"S-Since then... h-he started treating me really bad.... I would get hit for silly reasons.... saying that I was a bad wife and I needed to be punished... I wasn't allowed to go out... he would lock me up in the house and if anyone saw my bruises or injuries he would hit me harder.... I tried to fight at first... but each time I yelled back or fought him it would get more violent.. more harsh... more painful.... I keep telling myself that I've became numb to the pain, that next time won't hurt like before but it still did..... I tried to run away, to call for help.. I even tried to kill myself... but in the end I couldn't do it!"
