Chapter Thirty Five

The old incident

Previosuly:

"Well, Yunho-shi... We are like family now... so don't worry about it... you are important to Jae and that makes you important to me too..." 

Heechul said smiling as he walked around the kitchen like he has been living in the house grabbing a cup filling it with coffee handing it Yunho who looked at him in amusement. 

"Drink that.... I need you to be completely sober for what I'm about to tell you" 

Yunho's face got serious sensing that whatever Heechul is going to tell him, he is not going to like it.

"Thank you..." 

Yunho took the cup taking a gallop of the black coffee as the four of them sat down on the kitchen table.

"And that's what exactly happened tonight" 

Yunho told Heechul what happened tonight in details. 

"Hmmm... I guess he did relapse..." 

Heechul said sipping quietly from his cup. 

"Relapse?... what do you mean? is he ok?" 

Yunho worriedly asked. 

"Jaejoong.... has been through a lot.... even though I know only a little of what Siwon did to him but I knew it was bad.... I could see him get worse physically and mentally..... With all that I haven't seen someone as strong as him.... having a violent husband and living with the daily abuse willingly for two long year is sure stupid yet not easy at all..... I used to force him to go to the hospital with me to fix up what that basterd did every few days.... his body didn't heal from a bruise before another is marked on him....  He always denied being hit by Siwon, saying that he fell down or someone attacked him but he doesn’t remember his face....." 

Heechul said taking a sip from his coffee before he continued: 

"I kept telling the doctor that he is lying and that his husband was behind all of this but Jaejoong would shut me up and defend that ....I didn't know why he would protect him like that.... we would argue and fight at the clinic everytime and end up with him on his knees begging us to drop it down..... I hated driving him back to that but Jaejoong insisted that he needs to go back... I felt like he was drifting away from me... he avoided me many times but I didn't leave him knowing that he needed me the most back then..."
