Isabelle Yoon is an international transfer student at a university in Seoul. After taking two years off from university in Canada because of an unfortunate incident, she decided it was time to get away and start afresh in a place where no one knew her, including her relatives living in Korea whom she had never met until now. During that two-year-long break, she closed into herself- focusing only on studying to prepare for going back to school by taking online classes, as well as working part-time jobs to save up money. Prior to coming to Seoul, she had decided to do the same things- in other words, be utterly antisocial- but after meeting Brian Kang, a super friendly but semi-awkward (or rather, annoying)..yet absolutely charming guy with the most perfect smile...her plan is deterred.
