This story is set in Seoul business district, it's about the triangle loveline office romance of

Lee Soo Hyuk, Seo In Guk and the female lead, Park Jin Yee (Jeannie Park) - hence, the title (Jeannie = Genie)

Character Introduction

Seo In Guk - 29 years old, 180cm, 68kg

He graduated overseas from the US, and was Jeannie’s senior from uni.

He has always been athletic and was from the swimming and ice hockey team.

During his free time, he runs & cycles regularly to keep fit.

Being musically-inclined as well, he knows how to play the guitar and sings really well.

A deep thinker, he is very self-driven and put in a lot of effort & hard work in everything he does.

Currently, he’s the manager of the Marketing Dept of a publishing company.

He’s honest, righteous, reliable and trustworthy. A well-liked & capable manager in his dept.

Lee Soo Hyuk - 25 years old, 185cm, 72kg

He's somewhat distant, no-nonsense and expressionless most of the time.

He appears much older than his age as he went through domestic violence as a child in a single family.

He had some tough years growing up and his consolation was during high school

where and when he first met Jeannie who saved him from the bullies at school.

They had lost contact after migrated to US with her family.

Currently, he’s the Team Leader of the Business Development Dept.

He is observant and has good foresight in making good investment that brings in a lot of profit for the company.

He can be shrewd & manipulative but isn’t that how successful businessmen are?

When he’s not at work, he would be working out in the gym

or going out drinking with his good friends from high school & uni.

Girlfriends? Plenty of different ones, since his good looks can easily attract any haksaeng to ajummas

Park Jin Yee (Jeannie Park) (Sung Yu Ri) - 27 years old, 170cm, 55kg

Since young, she’s good in sports such as volleyball, tennis, baseball.

Due to the re-location of her dad’s work, she moved to US and completed her high school there.

Subsequently, she also went to a US university and there she met Seo In Guk

at the Overseas Korean Club and had been carrying a torch for him ever since.

After In Guk graduated and returned back to Korea, they kept in touch via Facebook & Kakao.

Currently, she's headed back to Seoul looking for work and

In Guk encouraged her to apply for a position in the marketing dept.

She was thrilled to be hired and being able to work closely with him.
