My mother said this to me a lot when I was young. It's such an important quote to me that led me to audition for SM. I had expected so much, but the only thing I didn't was meeting Do Kyungsoo.
I had just became a trainee under SM Entertainment with a couple of my friends and we luckily got to be in a group together along with four other girls. They named us Europa after one of Jupiter's moons. We were set to debut in a year.
One night, I was walking around the SM building to find a place to practice on my choreography when I heard someone singing in a distance. I'm usually not nosey, but I liked it so much I had to know whose voice it belonged to. And that's where I saw him. I was entranced by the smoothness and soulfulness of his voice. The way every word had intense feelings behind them. My focus was hard on him. I was in awe and I envied his talent.
Once he finished, he hung up the headphones on the mic and turned around to see some stranger staring at him. "C-can I help you?" I brought myself back to reality and introduced myself, embarrassed that I got caught, "Hello, I'm Lee Eunsol, I'm a new trainee. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to stare. I'll just leave."
After that, we continuously passed by each other. We are both under SM after all, so it's bound to happen. But something about our encounters seemed different than with anyone else...
Foreword
This was named "You Are My Destiny," but I changed it because I thought the new, current title made more sense. The name is from Xiumin's OST single. I do not own the song or the name of the song.
Throughout this story, there will be many appearances of EXO members and other groups. I do not own any rights over them.
Nothing in this story is in any way factual. This story is completely my idea. Any similarities to other stories are pure and honest coincidence.
This story starts taking place five months before Luhan had announced his leave from EXO and his lawsuit against SM Entertainment, so he will appear in a couple of chapters.
