Description

          Everything Has Changed.

        Yoon Bomi, Byun Baekhyun,
            Park Chorong, Lu Han

A girl and a boy, who met at the peak of blossoming spring.

A boy and a girl who encountered each other on a hot summer day.

A bundle of these boys and girls, clashed on that warm fall afternoon.

And that snowy winter night, they broke apart.

Since then, everything really had changed.

everything has changed : foreword

“Hey, Ji, pass me my algebra book.” the girl with the dyed pink hair said, the piece of bubble gum popped in as the other girl rolled her eyes, throwing the pink-haired girl her heavy algebra book. The pink locks of the not so prosaic woman bounced up and down, trying to catch her 189 page textbook; obviously failing at that rushed attempt. The book fell right on the wooden floor in-front of her as she pouted in disappointment. Yoon Bomi, the bright girl everyone in middle school ever knew of. She was now in high school and that traditional daisy tucked behind her ear and caught between the strands of her hair was now long gone – replaced with nothing but monthly dyed hair colors and streaks of vibrance. Free period with Eunji, her so-called ‘best friend’ who supported her through thick and thin unlike some people she had in mind.

Bomi wasn’t always like this. She was known to be an endless trail of happiness all around; a social butterfly who befriended people after five seconds of meeting them. Yoon Bomi was the bright daisy girl from Seoul Middle School now transformed into a lost, unfound girl. From soccer to taekwando, she found herself slowly losing herself bit by bit and she really didn’t know the reason why she suddenly had this unfamiliar feeling pooling in her stomach. She felt emotionless at times and that was unusual for Bomi. A passionate soul like she, had never experienced such sorrow in the seventeen years she had existed in this corrupted world.

It felt like her world was broke apart.

“Baek, Lu-Hyung!” a certain giant had his deep voice echoed through the school corridor, slung an arm in both Baekhyun and Luhan then rolled their eyes in sync. Sure, they pretty much adapted to Chanyeol’s irritating and idiotic antics but today was no day where the both were in the mood to fool around. The aura was heavy, Chanyeol could sense the bad moods in both the males’ systems. He sighed, “What happened with Bomi... again?”

Baekhyun shrugged Chanyeol’s arm off his shoulder and slightly glared. “She’s being a big brat,” with Luhan to continue with a displeased look he decided to place on the apprehensive Chanyeol. “Yeah, we just had to sit with Yoona and Taeyeon today but she made a big deal out of it.”

“Total brat move, Yeol.”

Chanyeol shook his head, “Maybe Bomi’s just having some problems today...”

Luhan scoffed lightly, a look of disbelief displayed on his pale face. “Not just today, the whole ing week! What is wrong with her?” Baekhyun shrugged again, not really minding the topic of Bomi and continued to stare at the school’s infamous cheerleading team – which Bomi and Chorong were in, surprisingly. “Guys, maybe she has a problem-”

“Well, she could’ve told us instead of being a brat!” Baekhyun raged, brows knitted and his ears began turning a slight shade of red, indicating his state of anger. Chanyeol chuckled sadly, “Maybe she would’ve told you if you guys bothered to listen.”

And with that, the two were left frozen and Chanyeol slowly faded from their sight, him with a disappointed frown.

Panting and drops of sweat running down the girls’ foreheads as they struggled to walk towards their full water bottles. Today’s practice was definitely the most difficult that they had experienced this whole school year. They were going to graduate soon. Speaking of graduation, the two were rather giddy at the thought of being set free and working on their own – not forgetting about their responsibilities as students. Bomi heaved a sigh and quickly wiped of the sweat forming on her forehead with a towel, throwing it to Yerim—a junior they had found interesting and fortunately was the cheer team’s ally—and catching a new one for Chorong.

Chorong sensed the change of attitude Bomi held in; her eyes were lowered and didn't seem to have the same enthusiasm they had just a few days ago, she rarely spoke and Yoon Bomi’s main talent is speaking yet she hadn’t spoken a single word since her feet touched the gym. Chorong sighed at the girl with pink locks, thinking it was either just a minor state, never passing her mind how endless would last.
