Never well enough, Esther slams her fist into the mirror. She hated what she saw. 

She lost weight, her cheek bones made her look starved. Her eyes forever violet. She looked like a animal.

 While the blood ran down her hand smeared her face, she sobbed. Beautiful Esther was gone. She mourned her beauty for the ninth time since waking up in her bed.

She failed the ritual and had gone mad. She was no use to anyone. Junhong stayed away. She badly wanted to see his face. It was probably for the best.

She rubbed salve on her face to help quicken the healing and left her tattered bathroom. 

 No one had bothered to check in on her , so she walked into her bedroom unclothed. It was better that way. Everything she wore seemed too oppressive. was better.

"Esther"

"Oh hey" she answered back.

Junhong spoke through the door. "I'm sorry i haven't checked on you much"

"Or at all"

"Yeah sorry. How are you?"

"Hideous"

"For real how are you?"

"Fine" she said flatly

She heard him sigh "I just want a honest answer"

"Why don't you come inside then and see for yourself"

She placed her hands on the door and purrs.

"You know I can't let you out..not till you feel normal"

"I'm not the one with sickly sweet blood, why is it so sweet Jun?" 

She couldn't take it. His blood screamed to be taken, she didn't understand bwhy she couldn't have any. She felt delirious with need. She hadn't had blood in days and one with sweet blood stood outside the door, taunting her.

She could always break down the door but that wouldn't be any fun. Sweet blood should unlock the door and surrender himself. No one would die.

"Unlock the door"

"I can't"

"But I need you. I'm scared" her voice trembled but she rolled her eyes. "Please protect me oppa"

"I haven't been Korean in years. Don't call me that"

"I'm just confused. I need someone to help me. I'm scared" she allowed sadness to color her voice.

 She could sense his confusion and desperation but he still held strong.

"I'm walking away now."

She slammed the door with her fist, "I hate you!" She cried.

Beating on the door, she yelled her hatred at him. Demanding him to open the door or he be sorry.

"No I'm sorry." He bewitched the door and stopped shaking.

 When she threw herself at the door she screamed in frightening manner.

Maybe the door spell was too strong but it was for her own good.

If she learned to calm herself, he would open the door. She was weak from the past days, she was a new born and very feral.

 If he allowed her to leave the room now, she would drain everyone in the manner and goddess only knew what else she would do. It was safer to lock her up and feed her normal food. Giving her blood or essence would be like giving sticking your hand into a lion's cage.

He was in charge of feeding her, the staff was forbidden to go anywhere near her room. For all they knew she was violently I'll.

He just hoped she could hold on for a few more days without blood.

He did something foolish, he unlocked the door.

Just before midnight he was doing his rounds before turning in for bed. He had just walked past Esther's door, strengthening the the spell just in case.

He had stepped away briefly when he heard the loud crashing coming from inside. He knew she was venting but he grew  concerned when he heard growling. He had just gone through the same thing she was suffering with and he never recalled growling like a animal.

He quickly unlocked the door and ran to her side. 

She was lying on her back, her hair a tangled mess, her face and hands bleeding. She was still but her breathing started growing rapidly. Before he could act she pushed him on his back. Sitting on his chest, smelling his neck.

"I can smell you through the door" she growled but it wasn't threatening.

"Thank you for unlocking the door" she stood up and walked towards the door.

Acting quickly he grabbed her ankle and pulled her down. Aperating in front of the door. Bewitching it locked from the inside so only he could leave.

"You wanna play let's play"

"You reverted, you couldn't handle me" she snared.

"You become very unlady like, time relearn your manners"

Junhong pinned his mistress to the wall, her eyes flaring bright violet. 'Ohh I like it rough"

"So I've heard"

He remembered what the Minster had said.

When she launched at him he flipped her to the wall pinning her tightly.

"Never knew you were so "

He chuckled rudely at her feable attempt to seduct him. His mistress was better than this. She didn't have to try hard to gain his interest. She would never speak so commonly. His woman was stranger in his master's home.

"If you insist on talking so crudely I'll treat you less than a lady and more of a common street girl"

He thought that would snap her out of it but she only arched her back. She was practically under her oversized sleeping gown.

His eyes opened wide when she grind her body against his. It wasn't the first time she did that but this was the first time she did it like that. 

As he gathered his strength to handle himself, she used it as an opening and slammed her head into his face.

She thought she had him.

He grabbed her wrist and bit

hard, seizing her movements. Causing her to slump the floor.

His venom and her venom mixing, it created a relaxing warm sedation. "I'm sorry"

"I know baby" he whispered in her ear. "I know"

Junhong sat on the edge of the tub, wondering what he would do about his mistress in this state. Her father would banish him if he found out. He left taming and grooming her and to be a proper heiress up to him. 

He knew at some point he would have to know but for now he would keep her sedated enough to teach her about her true bloodline and tell her what she had truly become.

The ritual may of not fused her but she was still a priestess and he would have to teach her all he knew about priestess magic. 

 He had a feeling he would be calling on Soran again.

"Jun wash my face" Esther demanded in sleepy voice.

"Yes miss'.

Her eyes were simply unnatural, more unnatural that his new orange eyes. Some how it suited her, it gave her an worldly aura like a baby fae. She was more beautiful than ever.

"I'm tired, take me to bed"

He nodded and helped her out the bath and into a new non torn nightgown.

 When she was settled, he unlocked he door to leave.

"Please stay with me" she whispered "just for the night"

"I think bit would be better I'd left now'

"Why you think you'll lose control and ravish me in the or "

Junhong swooped next the bed, grabbed her face and kissed her softly. "Don't tempt me, little girl"

When he let her go he smirked at her silent, shocked face.

"Good night Young Mistress."

They may of shared a brief sweet moment but he still had to lock her door before turning in for the night.
