He stared at her for one last time. His heart stopped and started again and again. She was only a few feet away, dressed in her favourite white dress, holding her luggage.

“I guess this is goodbye” She muttered, looking at anything but him.

His farewell was caught in his throat, not wanting to say it. Goodbyes were meant for people who will never meet each other again.

He took in every detail of her, her being, her figure. Her. His hands clenched and unclenched. His breathing rough.

“Seo Joo Hyun—“

She raised up a hand, finally meeting his gaze. A tight smile formed on her lips.

“You don’t have to say it” She whispered. “I don’t want to hear it either”

His vision turned glassy. This lady in front of him, the angel who saved him from destroying himself permanently, the light who guided him through the dark, she had to be fantasy. She was too good, too pure, too perfect to be true. It was surreal. It had to be a a dream. A DREAM. And now he was waking up.

“When you're in America” His throat ached as he forced himself. “I want you to look at the stars every night and remember, I’m looking at the same constellations, thinking of you”

She looked at him, tears streaming down her face.

“When I'm in America” She gripped harder on her purse. “There won’t be a single moment that I’m not thinking of you”

The barriers crumbled and he found himself wrapping her tightly in his arms, savoring her warmth.

"It will always be you" He whispered, kissing her hair.
