Chapter 17: this is really a depressing thought, but if sehun treated her that way too, doesn't that mean she didn't have a constant supportive figure by her side beside her parents? you mentioned that there was a time when they fought or something, so that's why this thought popped up.

but anyways, wow. it's a good wow, i promise, more impressed than anything especially with the behavior of her peers and teachers. you tackle the issue of bullying directly, not bothering to sugar coat it. there are bystanders who do nothing, showing that they are just as bad as the bullies who take action. then with the teachers who are grateful for baekhyun for being kind to jihae, but they themselves don't try to reach out and talk to her. throughout this, i'm also grateful to baekhyun, becoming friends with jihae despite the fact that everyone avoids her, but i don't think he's at the stage yet to intervene without thinking of some bad things. yes, i would assume that he was totally surpassed about his reputation and is willing to help her, yet when sehun comes into the picture, he stops. when he witnessed jihae getting saved by sehun and she noticed that he was there, she could quickly assume that he was watching her as a bystander, someone who didn't try to help her.

the feelings are well written; i can feel what jihae and baekhyun are going through. when they're happy, i'm happy. when they're sad, i'm sad. i just want the two of them to have a happy ending because that's what they all truly deserve. and i just realized that they're a bit like foil characters, because they are opposites of each other in terms of personalities and their lives too. his parents fight a lot while her parents are happy with each other. he is outgoing and easy to talk to while she likes being by herself and takes a bit to open up.

i'm not going to lie when i say that i did lose interest in this for a couple of days (it was going a bit too slow for me), but then i picked it up again and things started getting more interesting. now, i do enjoy the pace that this is going and am extremely curious about what's to happen next. i really enjoy your writing style and everything about it so far! thank you for writing!!

Chapter 4: this is just soooo intriguing...i like your writing style by the way...real nice..love the omniscient narrator....

Chapter 1: What a morbid society these numbers have created... I can’t believe the first thing you say to a person you’ve just met is essentially “when are you going to die?” I’m shook wtf

Chapter 17: It's almost 2 in the morning for me but that didn't stop me from reading this story. I don't read supernatural stories often but this caught my interest. Jihae is someone I think I can relate to on some level. Her love for pens and her reserved nature are what I relate best to. She is a lovely person and it's sad that a lot of people don't see that because of her abnormal number. At least she has people she can lean on. I love how protective Sehun is of her and I love the friendship she has with him. Sehun is like the brother she never had and I love how she can be herself around him.

Speaking of friendship, the one between Baekhyun and Jihae is something I find my heart swelling to. I guess the moments they shared really tug my heartstrings. I swear, every chapter doesn't fail in making me think fondly of their relationship. Baekhyun is a special person and I love how you're characterizing him. He has a defense mechanism--as does Jihae--around his parents and it's something I understand. So far, he seems too good to be true and I'm hoping that he does not do a one-eighty in the future. He seems like a perfect person but it's obvious that he has flaws. Because of that, I find myself liking him more after each chapter :)

I'm enjoying this story so far! It's beautiful written and I'm looking forward to your next update :)
