"MOOOOOM"

"Huh? What?" Amber almost choked on her own drool as Jiyoon barged into her room and shook her body

"Wake up!" her daughter shook her even harder

"Who---What? Why? Did something happen? Are you okay?" She rubbed her eyes and sat down, looking at her daughter in her pajama

"Today is the day!" Jiyoon shook her again

"What day?!" Amber answered

"THE day!"

"Did someone invent a time machine over a night and you are getting married today?!" Amber answered lazily

"Moooommmm"

"Jiyoooooonnn" She mimicked the way Jiyoon whined "What is it with you?"

"Krystal unnie is coming. Remember?"

"For dinner, right?"

"Yes!"

"Is it dinner yet?"

"No, but don't you want to cook your lamb chop now?"

"NOW?" Amber looked at the clock on her side drawer "It's 6 am"

"But..but... you know how you sometimes forget the clock and the lamb chop is overcooked or how you forgot to  season it. We need to make it perfect"

"And it will be... when the time come. Now let me sleep for a few hours" Amber pulled her blanket to sleep again

"OMG MOM!" Jiyoon screamed again

"What? What?" Amber jumped back to sit again

"You hair!"

"What is it with my hair?" Amber touched her head, trying to pull her short hair to see what was wrong

"Your roots is showing!"

Amber's jaw dropped, she blinked a few times and stared at her daughter "Yes... and?"

"We need to go to Aillee unnie. She needs to dye your hair"

"Wait, what?"

"Come on, mom"

"Why should I dye my hair?"

"Just because!"

"But it's 6 am!"

"Fine, go sleep and I'll wake you at 8 o'clock sharp. I'm going to call Aillee unnie and say this is emergency"

Amber rolled her eyes and went back to sleep. She groaned as Jiyoon woke her at 8 am sharp, forced her to go to shower, made her drink her coffee in a gulp. Her friend Ailee already waited at her home.

"So, Amber" Ailee said "Did I miss something? You are still dating Min, right?" Aillee asked as she mixed the dye.

"Of course I am" 

"OMG! Are you going to propose?"

"Eh what?! Where did you get the idea?" 

"Jiyoon called me at 7 am, said it's an emergency that I have to dye your hair this morning. Not tomorrow, not this afternoon. Now"

"That kid, she woke me up at 6 am today and told me to me to cook the lamb chop for dinner already"

"Lamb chop for dinner? Oh, is someone special coming?"

"Just a friend of her" Amber shrugged her shoulders

Aille raised her eyebrow "Jiyoon has a boyfriend?"

"What?! NO! For the love of God, she's 12!"

"What then? You don't go crazy over things you don't deeply care."

"She met this...Krystal for almost a month, they became best friends and she invited her to dinner"

Aillee laughed "Funny that she made you do all this for little girls' dinner"

"Well, um...." Amber smiled awkwardly "This Krystal is not really little..."

"Oh, older friend? One from the track and field friend?"

"No... she's ummm quite older... eh a lot older"

Aille raised her eyebrow again "How older?"

"My age..." Amber mumbled, almost unheard but Aille heard it

Ailee looked at the blond in front of her, she stayed silent for a while and then she screamed "OMG! She want to set you up!"
