This project is loosely inspired by Julio Cortazar's Night Face Up, as well as Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. I do intend to borrow quotes from Fahrenheit 451 and will definitely credit and make sure it's known which quotes are and aren't mine.

I honestly didn't really like reading stories associated with magic realism but at the same time it's always been something I've admired and come to want to challenge myself with as a writer. I'll definitely be trekking unfamiliar territory but I hope that I'll come out of the process as a better writer and give you all a hell of a story <3

Then again, I'm complete at pulling through with things like these so don't get your hopes up too high >~<

Feedback would be much, much, much appreciated, especially since I'm not very experienced outside of the romance/humor/fluff spectrum of writing.

Chapter 2: WTF?? This fic is like the total definition of mind . Istg. Whhaaatt??? I feel like I get the point of the story, yet at the same time I don't?? Like the Jongdae part?? I cannot understand. And where did Chanyeol go at the end? (/T^T)/ *cries bc what*

Okay okay before I get anymore incoherent, lemme just write down my thoughts.
There were actually a couple times I thought Jongdae was a figment of Chanyeol's imagination and that was wrong.
But okay. All this time I thought the library!au was the real one. But the more I think about it, the more I see it being vice versa. I think the 451!au is the real world that he lived in while the library he existed. I even just tried going on a spiel to back myself up but it only contradicted me and I ed that up so I don't even know anymore. I JUST. UGH. I DON'T KNOW. This was so brilliantly put together and I don't even have intelligent things to say ;^; mahshehhhhekawhkhuuhuhanjrngkljrl I'm just so emo rn i can't believe you've done this
