Yuya Takaki used to be a playful boy. He used to go out of their house and play with their neighbors’ sons. One day, when he and his friends played with the monkey bars in the playground, he fell and got wounded. It wasn’t that deep but it was painful. Because of that, he decided not to get near those bars again. Little did he know that on the next day, he’d be wounded again. But this time, it would be so deep, so painful, that he would end up getting scarred.

On the other hand, there was this one girl who experienced the same thing. However, unlike him, her wounds didn’t heal. Unlike him, she still experiences the twinge of her wound. And unlike him, her wounds weren’t scarred no matter how deep they are.
