Something NEW. Love triangles are boring, jealousy is boring drama, harems are only good for PWP's (and even then they're getting slightly boring).
Jealousy is written as if it's something that makes your life exciting - it's not. It's filled with drama, it's exhausting to be in.

For once write a story where a male and a female can be hella good friends without their partner worrying about what they're doing with their friends. Just ... for once.

Jealousy in love stories is cute (not in real life, let's not go there) but I hate having triangles because that means someone ends heart broken, so it's nice to have the lead become jealous because of a misunderstanding rather than the girl or boy actually having several prospects
