My fellow readers and typies, this is probably a surprise for you since I've always been an advocate of not needing my readers to subscribe, so I’d like you to give me a chance to explain my choice in partaking in this program.
1] The biggest and only reason why I decided to crowdfund my stories is really to crowdfund for an artist. As you may know, I dearly love writing, but my passion has transcend to wanting to do more than writing stories. I want to take the next step, and that is make it into a webcomic/manga. Unfortunately, I cannot draw, and a lot of artists aren't willing to take up free works (especially since I write lengthy chapters). I also don't have enough to pay them (I’m willing to pay, but the price they request are over my budget, unfortunately).
I’ve joined Tapas and Webtoon in search of artists willing to compromise with me, but I've yet to find anyone. If you’re an artist and have some time you're willing to spare for the "bigger result," please take my request below into consideration:
I still plan on writing and publishing my stories, but if you, the artist, are willing to draw for free until we have enough supporters to be in an Ad-Sharing program, in which you'll get 70% of the profit thereafter, I'll deactivate my AFF Crowdfund. This is also better because if we can join an Ad-sharing program, our readers don't really have to support us via money but via ad revenue on their application or on the site of that program. For the time being, this crowdfund is strictly for paying an artist.
All in all, any monetary receiving will be strictly used to pay an artist. If you'd like to be an artist and/or have other ways we can go forth with my dream of making my stories a visual form, please PM me.
Thank you,
Mstyper

Crowdfunding is a way for supporters to send their favorite authors tips, donations, and the necessary funding to help them continue producing great content. We set ourselves apart from other crowdfunding programs in that we do not charge extra fees (we don't need it) and our authors keep more of what they get.
This is an invite-only program for vetted authors to ensure that our members are safe in entrusting them with their sponsorship. When you purchase one of an author's tiers, you become a monthly sponsor of their work with added abilities such as access to early chapter releases or downloadable PDFs. Unsubscribing is also easy and can be done from here or through your PayPal account.
Transactions should be instant but if you don't see yourself subscribed to your chosen tier 10-20 minutes after your purchase, please send a message to the author letting them know of your subscription.
You can view your sponsorships in your Supported Works page [Profile nav=>Stories=>Crowdfunded].
A note from the founder: As the founder of Asianfanfics, I've met many wonderful writers on this site. As I've gotten to know them over the years, I've come to find that many of my friends here struggle to get by whether it be paying for school, everyday essentials, or what really gets to me, medical bills. After trying to see what could be done to help through crowdfunding, it became clear that dedicated crowdfunding platforms take out too much in fees. That's why I started this program just for authors so that they can receive the support they need without a middleman taking a chunk out of it. I wish you all luck in this and all of your other life endeavors and hope you all succeed.
