Chapter 8: Okay I'm back! Ahh, about Chanyeol's character, I tried to portray him as someone who is a slow learner. Therefore his cognitive and behaviour development doesn't match his age. Plus, the environment he was in halt his development. I think it was my fault since I didn't emphasize on how he was treated differently in a severe protective manner by both Changmin's parents and the Kims. Since he was 'abnormal', both Changmin's parents and the Kims exclude him from the world in fear of Chanyeol getting hurt along the way through his adulthood. I've touched on this topic on the later chapter when Yifan discussed with Mrs Kim to take Chanyeol under his wings. Yifan convinced Mrs Kim that Chanyeol should not be treated any different from other 'normal' people and that he should be exposed to all the things kids his age are exposed too. He wants Chanyeol to explore the world and live the normal life he had missed before.
Honestly, i totally understand the uncomfortableness that creeps in while reading a few parts of this fanfic because when I reread those parts, I myself cringe in disbelieve like, 'wow did I actually write this part?'. So, it's cool.

Chapter 7: I've picked up my review! I have to say, I honestly just expected something short, not a whole planned out thing with sections on plot and whatnot.
Thank you so much for the honest review! I never really knew what to think of the story, as I was writing based on real-life emotions and I was kinda upset at the time, so I didn't really pay much attention to the little details. Actually the little scenes with Miss Gayoung were a little off, but to me she is a crucial mentor, someone really improtant to me in my life but as another person.
And the Chinese at the end, it was actually a confession to that one person I wrote this for, and he'd know if he read it. As I mentioned, I was distraught at that time, so I was just really concerned about it and I wanted to let him know what I really feel. So this wasn't really a story for readers but more of a letter to a special someone. I actually just wanted to review it cuz I thought it was written really badly and I needed another opinion.
Chapter 5: Thank you for the review. I am pleasantly surprised that the second chapter got a good response because honestly, I was worried that it was not that good. I rarely ever write first person pov so I am glad there were not a lot of mistakes in the technicality of it and is easy to read. Thank you so much for the insights!
