Discouraged? Yeah... pretty badly discouraged

So... for the past few days i gad been working on posting a roleplay.. and now that its up and getting views... i. Not too happy and i kinda want to just delete it already.. the whole concept of it really hasnt ever been done before and i truly at this point dont believe anyone is going to give it a chance. And that because i think people would really enjoy it once they start giving it the chance.

But with people these days its hard for something to be gotten out there.. or even given the time of day. I really want my rp to thrive... and its not like im going to force anyone to join as an anime vharacter... thats just an option. There are plently of face claims people could choose from.. and i worked pretty hard setting things up to be able to even open it to the public ..

Should i just delete it and give up?...

@Shadowstalker I've never ventured into roleplaying so I can't give advice on that aspect. Perhaps what you need is just time. The views may have been from those who were interested in the title of your RP or from people randomly checking it out. Plus if someone refreshes the page, that counts as another view so don't feel bad about it. If it doesn't work out here on AFF, try Roleplay Republic. Just keep at it.

@KwonJiyongsWaifu I tried back in 2014 but i got the same result... i left it uo for weeks and still didnt get anywhere.. thats why i was hesitant in the first place..

@KwonJiyongsWaifu it does and ive freelanced this type of roleplay as well and alot of my partners really enjoyed it. so i wanted to kinda bring it to light in the roleplay community ya know?

@KwonJiyongsWaifu Its just insanely upsetting to see it get alot of views within a few hours... but not get any applicants. Ive even out in there that joining as an anime character is purely OPTIONAL. Its not like im gonna enforce there being anime cbaracters. If it ends uo just being me thats fine too.. i just wanna have my own place to thrive and help grow... i missed being an admin of a roleplay... i rely did..

People generally take time to try and accept new concepts. I created a contest two months ago and I was reluctant at first because it's never been done before. But as time passed, I at least got a few entry submissions.
So don't give up easily on something you've earnestly worked hard for. If there are people interested in your Roleplay, they'll come. You can also try advertising too to increase your audience.
