How to write a romantic mature content

I really having a hard time to do it because I don't know where to start. Somehow when I tried, I feel like it less romantic so I back off. Maybe you could give me any suggestion. Especially from the experienced authors.

I'm no experienced author, sorry... but compelled to comment even more because of that. In my opinion, writting should be, more than anything else, fun for you. Doesn't really matter if it's not perfectly written, sometimes you might feel like it's not good enough, lacking on some aspects, not able to build strong mood etc... so what? Writting it makes you feel good doesn't it? Don't worry too much and just do more, they said 'practise makes perfect' right? Just be true to yourself, your thoughts and your feeling at the time, if you really are in the romantic stance then your writting will automatically turns that way too, but if you're not don't force it, you really don't have to be romantic like 'all the time'. Sometimes pure rough and blunt way of telling an m rated fic can also be interesting, kekeke... and don't delete any stories, later on you can see how your writting have grown, for better or worse kekeke... like reading an old diary, or something, i think, it would be more fun that way kekeke... i will read your fanfic, hope you keep on writting more, fighting!

@wosung I feel like it won't come out anytime soon and I run after the time to make an update over my story. I mean I don't want to left my readers for too long but I can't help. Writing a mature content is like the hardest part for me rather than writing the story line. Like how you express yourself with the words there. The difficulties to find a unique diction or creating such a hot yet romantic atmosphere.

also i would never delete the things i've written because you might think it's horrible but when you read back on it a few days, weeks, or even months after, you might find that you actually really like what you've written you just didn't realise it at first!

unfortunately i'm not yet confident with my mature writings, but i find it useful to read and re-read some of my favourite works by my favourite authors - can be other fics, novels or even poetry.it's refreshing to take a break from writing and just observe how others write - i find this helps a lot when i'm on a writer's block!

First of all, how much are you putting in? It entirely depends on that.
The thing with is that you can do whatever you want and make it work for you.
When I'm stuck, I prefer to use a blindfold scene, or food play. You can make it as romantic as you want.

Imagination is the key for this. Just trust your imagination, and work around the ideas you have.

If you want more romance, use a scene like a bed decorated with rose petals or something.
Make the scene as vivid as you can, and you won't go wrong.

What I suggest is to let it flow, not to jump straight into a , but to build a relationship or build tension between two characters. It helps to bring out more raw emotion. It was a trial and error for me, but when I did get it down, it did work out really well for me and I can say all of my more recent works or updates (took a long long break and now I'm back) are garnering more attention than ever. Also, being descriptive helps to convey a romantic feel. Don't write that A is doing this to B, but A is doing to to B and it makes A/B feel like 'blank'. I hope this helps :) Feel free to message me if you have any questions

The thing about is that you have to let it flow. It took me a while to realize it, but when I did my s were more successful and felt more natural. You have to build a relationship between characters or even add some instead of jumping straight into a , it give more raw feeling to the actual scene. Even if it is just a paragraph or two, it always helps. Also, try to be descriptive, not just A is doing this to B, but A is doing this to B and it makes

I mean, i tend to write a lot of those. And my only suggestion is to let it flow, dont jump right into scenes bc it feels awkward. Instead build tension between the characters, even if its just a paragraph or two. It took me a while to figure that out, but when I did, my s were less awkward and it felt more natural. When you let characters develop feelings, even if artificial, it gives more raw emotion. Also, try to describe the feeling of the two during the scene, not just an A and a B but what is A doing to B thats making B feel a certain way. Hope this helps :)

Depends of what do you mean by "mature" content. Do you mean dark themes (ion, alcohol, drugs etc...) or just a fanfiction about romance but with a lil/a lot of scenes?
