What are Some Good Kdramas?

As the title suggest, I would like to know some good kdramas. I do have some criteria on what interest me.

+Historical- I fell in love the theme after watching Hwarang, and it has intrigued me since then.
+Light theme- This one is not as necessary, it is just that I get super stressed over characters sometimes.
+Romance- I want the romance to be sort of...fluffy. I just have a soft spot for these kinds of dramas.
+Friendship- I like the build-up of friendship more than romance to be quite honest.

I hope this is not asking much, thanks in advance.

I honestly haven't found dramas that have captivated me so much since You're Beautiful and Sungkyungkwan Scandal. I'm very, VERY picky.

The recent drama that I watched with a light theme is weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo! it's very fun to watch, the romance is cute/fluff without too much angst, there's also family and friendship, totally recommended if you don't want heavy drama.

Romance: Smile, You. It's old but one of my favorites. Cute development although its more focused on the family they are the central couple.
Sweet 18, it's a little old but cute-ish.

I'm more into Angst than Fluff so the list is short :/

Friendship: Reply 1988 (hands-down the best version of the Reply Series which include 1994 and 1997 my least favorites)

Historical: Everyone will tell you Queen Seok Deok for a reason. Bridal Mask. Moon Embracing the Sun (this gets sad then happy then sad then really sad then happy then OMG then happy). Moonlight drawn by clouds (although I warn ya, it gets repetitive but their romance is cute)

1. Legend of the Blue Sea (it's a mix of Joseon and modern day, and I swear to god it's worth to watch.)
2. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (Nam Joohyuk and Lee Sungkyung IN ONE DRAMA... and it's a cute romance storyyy.)
3. Pinocchio (A bit complicated- as it involves family drama and stuff, but it's worth to watch (2) haha.)

I suggest you watch Warrior Baek Dong Soo, Mask (though this drama is somewhat heavy but you'll love the way the MCs fall in love with each other and how loyal the wife is to the husband and the fact that you can't hate on the evil characters in here ><), Introverted Boss (the main guy is super cute istg), Defendant (this one is heavy also but the actors played the characters really really well. Just like Mask, you can't hate on the evil characters because they are so good at being evil), also Signal is the best drama (because Lee Jehoon FTW), The Girl who Sees smell (Yoochun's character is so cute!), Rooftop Prince, Sungkyungkwan scandal (Jongki x Ah in FTW), Scholars who walk the night (though I haven't personally watch this but Lee Junki and Changmin is bae :3)

Watch scarlet heart ryeo if u liked hwarang. Hwarang was sad but SCR was just so like, i forgot how to feel near the end of the series bc they toyed around with my feels so much. I also recommend strong woman do bong soo and weightlifting fairy kim bok joo. both are very entertaining!~ Also the person below recommended school 2013. It's quite boring at first but i ended up loving it! hope that helped!

School 2013 could be related to friendship in a way. It plays a key role in the overall plot and drama

Hm. My favorite historical drama would be Six Flying Dragons; it is kind of a long series so if you're committed you should definitely check this one out! I would also recommend Ladies of the Palace (speaking in terms of historical genre), but I couldn't find any site you could watch it on as it was aired in 2001 and I was pretty young when I watched it; but if you do get your hands on it do be sure to check it out as well aha. :-) (psst Ladies of the Palace features a really young Jang Keun-Seuk from Love Rain if you've watched that!)

This one isn't listed as a genre you like, but I do recommend that you watch Signal if you're into suspense and drama and crime/detective cases and stuff. I've watched it thrice (once with a cousin who showed it to me, once with my parents, and once with my other cousin), and I'm still not really tired of watching it again. Really good plot, a little weird in a way but definitely a 9.6/10 stars on my drama list.

ummm. Also check out School 2013 if you like plots with bullying or school life. It might be a little boring at first but the sentiment and experience is great with a tub of ice cream on the side :p

I rarely watch dramas nowadays but these are the ones that are my top titles so yeah, enjoy if you try any of these out! :D
