I love rated-M, angst, death-ending stories with EXO pairings: ChanBaek KrisBaek KrisTao as the main characters. (I mostly read gay, gender switch for bottoms sometimes, but I don't read straight or OOC fanfics at all) I also enjoy mystery and tragedy stories but I'm not into fluff (sweet lovely) stories. Because for me there is no happy ending. (I really can lose interest and stop reading a story which has sad plot in the beginning but turns out happy in the end) I 'm also not really into stories with a bunch of characters. I always prefer the ones with two or three of characters with sharp plots. ^-^

@reddoll123 like telepathy and telekinesis stuff used in detective stories and there isnt any big awareness of it like x-men. hidden powers which the world is unaware of. eg. my story non-naturals is one of the supernatural stories that i like to read and write. or hamartia.

I love angst, mystery, drama and violence - all in one. What I absolutely dislike is romance. By romance, I don't mean two people loving each other more than anything, I mean the type of fluffy, mawkish, cheeky romance. These teenage-love-lives. Rom-coms (romedy), is absolutely nothing for me. No, thank you. I also love and enjoy reading ty (rated mature) stories. I don't mean the quickie, in-and-out game(s) many author use for their fictions. I mean the beautifully written, intense, passionate, deep stories. Drama is a good genre as well, but it has to devour you. I love when a author is able to make you feel emotional. Like a intense roller coaster of feelings. But drama is great too ... the petty, shady kind of drama. You know, fictions in which "he left her for another woman", or "she cheated on him with his best friend", or "he has a affair with my band member". (• ε •)

I'm more of a person who would pick based on level of interest in plot rather than genre. With that being said, I'm easily drawn to horror and au, with everything that has to offer. Usually, it's due to the excitment they have to offer or the way to something strange, new, and quite often bizarre.

I love horror, mystery, tragedy and suspense. Romance is okay too, as long as it's not like mega cheesy. Comedy fics are really fun to read, but sometimes, i'm in the mood to suffer. :')

Scifi, Fantasy, Thriller. I like dark stories and stories with sad endings also, ones that stay with you for a while and you don't know what just happened or how you feel about it but it makes you save the story as one of your gems.

I especially like angst, happy or sad ending. I also like mystery, crime, psychological aus. My guilty pleasures are high school au and romcom. But I'm not the type that stick to those only, so I've actually read a bunch of other genres and aus with some I find pleasant.

Angst, mystery, horror, psychological, mafia/ gang (as in the real type not random high school gang etc). Generally all the dark and sad stuff, I read happy stuff as guilty pleasure fics but most are just too predictable and happy for my liking. I love bittersweet/ tragic ends especially to twisted stories.
Used to like fantasy (or is it supernatural? Idk how they're classified, got confused after I saw everything get mixed together) but it was during the period of time when I was obsessed with VIXX's voodoo concept

My favorites to read are action, adventure, comedy/crack, fantasy, friendship, sci-fi, and supernatural. And I'd say the reasons are, well, one, because I just so happen to like those the most. Another being that these are the genres I like to write about the most as well and enjoy including into my stories. I just love reading awesome fighting scenes, seeing people traveling on a journey in mythical worlds, reading funny stuff and laughing at it, extraordinary super powers and abilities, weapons, creatures, futuristic or techno based worlds, strong bonds between chars and all of that. I've always had a thing for stuff like that instead of just regular simply real life stuff, and it's cool to write out characters living out lives in those types of scenarios and whatnot. And also, there are other genres that I enjoy as well, but yeah, those are the ones I love the best~

Angst, fantasy, slice of life. Although fantasy rarely pleases me as a genre, for some reason. As for a reason, I find Angst to be the most realistic of the genres. Slice of life is just a personal favorite.
