This is an ode to the background. To the ones always there, but never really there...not in their eyes, their hearts. Always shining their lights, but never seen, no matter how bright they light themselves up to the point of being burnt. Never heard. Never cared for. Because they're just the background, meant to be there to make the foreground seen, heard, loved.
