Fresh out of college, Bang Yongguk had ambitiously defied his family’s opposition of allowing him to move to the states. They expected him to use the degree that he had worked so hard for to earn a white collared job in an office. But Yongguk had other plans. 

"Your body is a blank canvas  Just waiting to be painted"   

Chaerin wants to ask out her crush, but has actually never kissed anybody. She asks her best friend Yongguk for help by which he agrees. Will this be as innocent as Chaerin planned?

A short story for our couple SKYBANG.

On a whim, he showed up every single day at the dingy little restaurant they had previously arranged for a day of relaxation - the restaurant where they had in fact celebrated an event for idols and where they had first conversed outside of variety shows. He only ordered a glass of water, and awaited the hours to fly by. It became a twisted sort of tradition for the past few months: snag any table, order water, and wait in silence for the love he had let go to return.  

The young man released a sigh, and silently hoped she would return another time soon, he did not want to be branded as a man of ill will, untrustworthy, and oh, the endless nonsense.  

It was their little game, so to speak. Whenever he felt his despair creeping in on him, poised to suffocate him, he reached out to her and she hurried over. She was a tool, only good for curing him.

He had never been prepared for looking after a child, attending to its every whim and need - but, what young guy was?

"Hmm. Any attractive, young men desperate for a kiss, Chaerin?" He was resting his head on his arm, eyes shining merrily at her.  She almost relented and unveiled the few takers that were quite charming. Yongguk had too much power over her, she decided. 

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." It became a mantra, flitting past her pale lips as she covered her face in shame. Even in her desperate need for a sign of assurance, he could not present her a smile. 

The deep, husky voice that erupted from him reeled Chaerin's thought and focus back to him. She had only ever heard a voice like that come from Choi Seunghyun, and his was far more rich than this young man's tone. It wasn't distasteful, she found herself thinking.

He figured he would tell her in the future that she was ingrained in his memory as the embodiment of coffee itself.
