Winter and Ningning hop on a zoom call.

The classic friends-to-lovers trope is overrated for Ningning.

they had long succumb to solitude — while everyone else moved on, they stayed the same.

When Minjeong learned that Yizhuo lived on food from the convenience store, she knew she had to do something. So what better solution than to cook a proper home-cooked dinner for the both of them along with the promise for more home-cooked meals to come in the future?

They have it all planned out; they wanted each other to be happy; they wanted everything to be as perfect as it could be. But in the end, they settled with something unexpected for the both of them and even though it wasn't what was normally considered the 'most well-thought-out and perfect' proposal, it still somehow works out perfectly in the end for Minjeong and Yizhuo.

a look at minjeong and ningning's daily routine as inseparable roommates. it's a relationship so comforting, warm and sweet like morning tea, heart-fluttering because it's always the little things they do for each other that has others yearning for. it's hard to believe they aren't dating, really.

ningning, an inquisitive princess by nature— is in captivity. winter is an irritated witch who is just about done with every advance the princess tries to make on her.

Minjeong tries to find the culprit behind the vandalism of the books at the library.   (or; Yizhuo bribes her way to Minjeong's heart with corn dogs, cup noodles, her art materials and Ddongie the gecko.)

  "D'you know why I like the snow?"   Minjeong shook her head.   "Why?"   Yizhuo smiled.   "It reminds me of you, in ways more than one."   Yizhuo thought that Minjeong was just like the snow; oddly comforting and solemnly silent. She couldn't quite find the right words to tell Minjeong, but Minjeong, oh-so understanding Kim Minjeong, understands anyway.

it gets harder you know, trying to contain the stubborn feelings behind the scenes, hoping no one would catch them. and maybe minjeong and yizhuo aren't the only ones resisting. but for now, it's enough.

Minjeong came home to see her first and only love, Ningning, once more.   But this time around, everything is not the same. 

and until yizhuo can say the words she longs to hear, minjeong would cradle her close, bestowing yizhuo a song between her ribcages. or winning arranged marriage au, where minjeong falls too early when she shouldn't.

"ah, i see. not used to talking. kim minjeong, by the way. i hope we can be good friends"  yizhuo wasn't sure if it was the glare of the morning sunlight or minjeong's smile, but she sensed warmth.
