Undercover officers Inho and Hanjin are assigned to infiltrate an underground turian arms ring. To do that, they enlist covertly into the crew of captain Hugo. There they meet the eccletic crew of the Fringe, a supposed smuggler frigate. But the arms deal runs much deeper than simple smuggling. Before long, the officers find themselves dragged into something that could affect the whole of Citadel space, and not everything is black or white.
