Of course that, after dodging odds for so long to keep promises she and Yubin could no longer afford to make, the cruel reality had to come to knock on her door with nothing but a vicious smile. It was settled like the worst truth to ever exist: if she didn’t give up while she could, Yubin would suffer the consequences, and Minji would rather have a bullet cross her head than allow malicious fingers and dirty intentions to come near her girl.

They thought they knew what forever was, but they had no idea. This new forever is hard to navigate, even together.
