lyla her middle name, bestowed in respect and then remembrance of her late grandma, lyla go.
haeseong her korean name, chosen by her late grandma. the hanja for 'hae' is one that means harm, damage, evil, or injury, and the 'seong' means star. aisling's grandma named her this in anticipation of aisling's future as a banshee, but with good intention. she had always wanted to show aisling that there's a bright side to being a banshee, that it's not all death and darkness. while she'll have to accept that aspect of it, too, she doesn't have to lose herself in it. (hangul is 해성)

ash a simple shortened version of her first name. her friends back in dublin call her this, as well as her father occasionally.
aish a good-humored twist on the previous nickname, dante unofficially dubbed her this the first time he was learning how to pronounce her name. he doesn't necessarily call her this as much as he just says the expression in it's original exasperated nature while looking at her.

korean her second language?? she's pretty much just as fluent in korean as she is in english, since she grew up simultaneously learning and speaking both at home, so it's only her second language by practicality since her first word was in english.
irish gaelic with only a few gaelic phrases logged into her brain, aisling can barely say she speaks the language. there's honestly not even that many people in ireland who speak this language, and from her time there, she's only learned about 5 basic phrases

[appearance] aisling's striking pink hair comes down to just above her , nicely contrasting with her warm-toned skin. her makeup is usually pretty subtle, but fruity enough to compliment her hair color. her eyes, a normal dark brown, actually turn red when she's in a fugue state, but that's the only tell to her banshee side.

[fashion style] nuru once sneered that aisling's fashion style places somewhere between janitor and art hoe - and aisling couldn't really disagree. she definitely prioritizes comfort, which nuru, in contrast, is willing to forego sometimes, but aisling likes to feel good in her clothes and therefore express herself through that confidence. her closet holds a lot of straight-legged jeans, stripes, knit sweaters, overalls, baggy jackets, oversized shirts, and the likes. she sort of agrees that she doesn't dress super feminine, but she wouldn't say she's extremely boyish, either. aisling likes to think she keeps the harmony, balancing out her generally casual outfits with the occasional skirt or cute hairstyle or stylish accessory. [uniform style] aisling typically just wears the white blazer and the gray skirt, complemented by the tie and a pair of converse. when it gets chillier, she'll add the sleeveless vest, and if she's really cold, she'll just throw one of her large jackets on. the blazer's just a little too confining for her tastes, so she prefers to be without it.
