Do you prefer singing, dancing or playing an instrument?

I would say singing. I grew up with vocalist training and learned some piano and saxophone. I haven't really sung much in years though. Unfortunately, social anxiety killed of any pursuit of a singing career.

Whelp, I'm writing this at 2:30 in the morning, so I think that should say something about me. XD

Are you a morning person?

My husband makes sure I have enough caffeine in the morning to make sure I "have less murder in (my) eyes." So, I'm going to say no.

What is the first Kpop song you ever heard?

Wow, this is going to out me as an old Auntie lol. That would either be Boa's No.1 or Dreams Come True by SES.

What is the first Kpop artist or group you got into?

I would say Boa was my first Kpop artist I ever stanned.

Do you watch anime? If so, which ones are you currently watching?

Do I watch anime? *points to pen name* XD 

I grew up watching anime, and my husband and I first met in an anime club at a local comic book shop. In fact, we go to a convention once a year (and now have a few friends who are industry). I've been rewatching a couple of old favorites (Ranma ½ and Sorcerer Hunters), and I've been watching Yuri on Ice when I get the chance to stream episodes.

And of course: WATCH COWBOY BEBOP, KIDS!

Lastly, what is life?

Um...... stuff and things and 42? I'm still trying to figure this out myself.

What do you do when you cannot fall asleep?

I watch videos on YouTube, read, listen to music or play a game on my phone call Survival (it's a text-based wilderness survival game and I recommend trying it).

Best advice for life in general?

Wheee, this is a tough one. I would say, always strive to grow and learn new things. Self improvement never has an ending and you can always learn and/or improve on skills and knowledge.

You need to accept the fact that no-one is going to have 100% the same views, beliefs and opinions as you. If you spend your life looking for that, you're going to be alone and miss out on what you can learn from others and on making connections with people as well.

One thing that I always try to do: Every day I remind myself to try to be the best version of me that I can. Of course, that doesn't always happen, but I strive to achieve this.

Where were you born and where would you like to go most?

I was born in Lewiston, Maine and grew up the the small town of Turner (I say born in Lewiston because that's where the closest hospitals were).

I have a lot of places I would love to visit. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend time in both Tokyo and Key West, but my travel list keeps growing. I think of all the places I want to visit the most, Old Shanghai. I heard a lot of it is unfortunately being demolished, so I would love to see it in person before it's gone.

Best food you can make and have ever eaten?

oooh, okay, this is a really tough one. I'm going to start with the best food and that would be the duck soup my husband makes. Every Christmas we have his version of orange duck and he makes soup with the leftovers and I absolutely love it. ^-^

Best food I can make? I'm not entirely sure, maybe spinach alfredo lasagna or baked ziti.

What's a usual day in your life look like?

I would say hubby gets out of bed, gets Rarity ready for the day and she has a morning snack/small breakfast before she grabs her blankie and snuggles in bed with me and at least one of the five kitties for a couple hours before we both get up and we brush our teeth. If I have work then she hangs out in the bathroom with me while I get ready and tries to put on makeup with me. Then I'll put on some Kpop or figure skating videos on the livingroom tv and spend time with her until my mother comes over to babysit and go to work.

If I'm not working then we'll snuggle on the couch before I work on a little housework and make lunch for her and maybe spend some time with my stepdaughter when she gets home from school, make dinner for when hubby gets home from work and work on some writing, play a game on my laptop or do a little reading.

And then I'll put the munchkin to bed and stay up a little longer before going to bed myself.  I know, pretty boring XD

Best and worst decision of your life (that you're comfortable sharing)?

InteresInterestingly enough, they kind of go together. The worst decision was letting people I thought cared about me disrespect me the way they did. Before Rarity, I was shamed a lot by people I knew, in public, because I wasn't pregnant. I was harrassed, accused of being a bed wife, and constantly asked what was "wrong" with me. And then I was told I wouldn't be able to have children. I was terrified that those same women would try to convince my husband to divorce me. So, I basically became a shutshut-in for a year, but in that time I began writing fanfiction to help me cope with the depression from it.

That was the best decision. Now I have wonderful subscribers and friends I consider to be family. I never saw myself as a serious writer on this type of platform, but here I am four years later.  (I didn't expect the answers to be so long, oof).

Worst ing food combination ever?

Pickles in egg salad sandwiches. It was served at a nursing home I worked at years ago. The residents loved it, no idea why.

Favorite Kpop people at this moment?

Oh dear, see my bias list post (before it gets wrecked again).

What song is stuck in your head right now?

Well, it was unstuck, but, now it's back. The freaking Winnie the Pooh theme song (thanks Yuzuru!).

What are you doing in light of the virus?

Doing only what I can do. Staying home, taking care of myself and my family and making sure I stay safe and healthy for them. (Stay safe, Little Beeps!)
