As told from the introduction, Female and Male Alphas have two pairs of canines which will grow around the age of 15 to 17, several months before their rut starts. We call it Alpha-Teething Period. In this period, young Alphas will experience Scenting, the natural urge to be physically close to an unmated Omega. Usually, if there are feelings involved, Dull Marking will be inevitable. We called it ‘Dull’ because, during the period, young Alpha’s canines are yet to function like that of a snake, and still function as a regular pair of canines. The mark left by the young Alphas will be gone after a few days.

After their teething, young Alpha will take a DNA Test to legalize their position as an Alpha. DNA Tests can also determine whether they are regular Alpha, Pure-Alpha, or Sub-Alpha. Regular and Pure Alphas are hard to differentiate.

Unlike Alpha and Pure-Alpha, Sub-Alphas don’t have Alpha Fangs. Theoretically, they have, but they are not as long and sharp. However, they can still inject their pheromone by giving deep bite on a certain area. Sub-Alpha women also do not possess male ia and unable to impregnate females, but they still experience ruts.

I expect you are familiar with Heat because pets experienced so; but what about Rut?

Rut, in simpler words, is the Alpha’s Heat. But unlike Heat, which is cyclical; Rut is divided into two categories: Cyclical Rut and Heat-Induced Rut. It is very dangerous for unmated Omegas to be around an Alpha in a rut, especially Heat-Induced one.

But what is Rutting, exactly? It is the peak of Alphatrophin production, generally occurred for 1-3 days every 3-4 months depending on the climate. An Alpha will first experience the Pre-Rutting phase, where Alphatrophin gradually starts to increase until it reached the maximum production before it declines. produced during this phase has a higher concentration of , accounting around 4-8% wherein normally, only accounts 1-5% of . produced reportedly have higher motility and better morphology, resulting in a better chance for fertilization. However, this phenomenon only occurs during an Alpha’s Cyclical Rut.

During Pre-Rut, an Alpha will feel like they are unstoppable – very much similar to a Beta women on their most fertile period, where ovulation occurs – but it will only last for 1-2 days before the increase in Alphatrophin started to mess with their system. An Alpha in rut will experience restlessness alongside the strong desire to breed with an Omega. During the period, an Alpha generally needed to relieve their ual needs 3-6 times, with at least 1 knotting takes place. Unlike popular belief, Alpha in a cyclical rut can still think clearly.

Heat-Induced Rut is actually very dangerous for an Alpha, not only for Omega around them. The sudden increase of Alphatrophine will cause a severe imbalance, especially to the neural system. The limbic system will experience disruption focusing on the amygdala, resulting in temporary loss of human consciousness. An Alpha will move according to their animalistic instinct until the Alphatropin declines to normal. At the end of Heat-Induced Rut, an Alpha usually lost their full conscience and once regained their consciousness, they are unable to remember what happened during their rut.

Female Alpha is very different compared to Male Alphas.

For one, Female Alpha has a retractable that will only come out if they are aroused enough. They do not possess scrotums that contain testes. Their testes are inside, replacing the position of the ovary. As a result, their body is naturally cooler to preserve the produced and Alphatrophine increase will settle the temperature to its more optimal degree to produce better .

Rutting for Young Alpha is different from adults. They only experience restlessness and the need to be around their family members or friends. This occurred starting from the age of 12 until 17 or before Alpha-Teething started to take place. It is sporadic and varies between each Alpha.
