ELABORATION —

• Mina is quite a shy individual, and she doesn't really interact with other people unless she knows them well. She also doesn't talk to others much unless she knows them well, and doesn't initiate conversations with others. But she's a very caring person, and acts way more mature than the other members (she'll likely be the second youngest...I think?). Mina also gives a lot of advice to the others when they are in distress.

 

Because she's so smol and shy, Mina is also really gentle with people, and acts like the second mom/oldest daughter of the group. She's also responsible, and always remembers her things and plans. Mina also remembers things about the others, and is usually the one who keeps reminding the members about everything. Moreover, she's also really nice to people, and doesn't get angry easily. Because of this, Mina sometimes gets taken advantage of (more in background).

 

She's also quite clumsy, and doesn't really bring her eyes when she goes out (i.e. bumps into things very easily). Mina is prone to tripping or bumping things easily, and people call her having chronic clumsy disease lmao. She's also sometimes naive, and gets tricked easily, thus being prone to her members' teasing. Because of her background, Mina is also very secretive and doesn't open up to people that easily either. Moreover, Mina is also very picky about things, and because of that she's sometimes seen cleaning or picking up things in the dorm (she probably has mild OCD but she's also very picky about random things and fusses a lot). 

BACKGROUND —

• Mina was born in Korea to her parents as an only child, and was raised there until the age of five, where her family decides to move abroad to California, where her father's family was based. She then attended school there and made some friends, but wasn't too popular at school because of her shyness. Mina eventually graduated middle school and went back to South Korea to live with her grandmother, as well as attend high school, due to some financial difficulties her family faced.

 

When she was in high school, Mina grew up to be a really pretty girl, but she was also very insecure of herself. Because her Korean wasn't that good growing up in California, the Korean kids a lot and made fun of her. When she was in her second year of high school, Mina started to take an interest in acting and singing in general. She posted some covers online and caught the attention of a few agencies, supposedly. There was also a casting offer, and she decided to try it. Unfortunately, it was a photo shoot for some costumes (e.g. uniforms, maid outfits) that were targeted towards an adult audience. She didn't want to do it at first, but they offered a lot of money and Mina was desperate to help her family out. The people then threatened to publish them after she refused to come in for a second session, but luckily her older cousin, whom she's extremely close with and was also a lawyer, helped her sue them and shut their business. Despite that, she's still very insecure and afraid of the entire issue, as she's afraid that some photos still float around on the Internet.

 

Timeskip to her third year of high school. Mina suddenly got an offer from YG, and knowing their reputation from kpop, she then decided to try and get in. Ultimately, she did, and started her trainee life.
