☸ Shen Minjun (申旼俊); basically the Chinese version of his Korean name. 'Min' means gentle, and 'jun' means handsome. Suits him, doesn't it?

☸ Demon; on very rare occasions, Shuangyue finds it extremely hard to express his feelings except in the form of high-pitched screaming. Everyone swears that he's possessed by a demon during these rare moments, and thus this nickname is born

☸ Loki's most loyal fan; when people use it they're not even joking. Shuangyue loves Tom Hiddleston so much he'll literally die for him, and never stops talking about him. Ever. Don't ask him about his celebrity crush on a talk-show because he'll just dominate the damn thing and forgets that he's with his bandmates or even has any. 

☸ Next Kim Heechul; ever since Shuangyue passed his first few months or so of being a docile idol for debut, he started to show traces of himself, and people started saying how his variety skills and antics, even his beauty was like Kim Heechul's. appearance There's a reason he picked the name 'icy moon' for himself, and it's not just the fact that he was born on a fricking moon eclipse. Zhihao (I'll call him that because Shuangyue is too long) has pale and flawless skin that is the result of many nights of excessive and obsessive care, and not a blemish in sight. It also looks as if he has never seen the light of day, which is partially true. He has sharp eyes that are often narrowed in a glare or widened in a half stare whenever he has photoshoots. His eyes are always sharp though, and they seem to be piercing into someone's soul.

Zhihao also has rosy red lips that does not need lipstick. He often gets mistaken for wearing it, and was once reprimanded by a teacher at school. He's slender and thin because of good genes and not dieting or whatever, and naturally has a slim frame. As a result, visible collarbones, long fingers, slender neck. You name it, he has it.

His hair is currently dyed a light brown, though it was originally black. Zhihao doesn't really care to style it much, but it somehow always looks good, even when he rolls out of bed. 

fashion style Zhihao is very fashionable, but then anyone would be with sisters who are fashion-designers and models. He usually wears plaid, denim and leather on normal days, with pants that shows off his long legs. Sometimes he wears dress shirts just for the sake of it. He also likes wearing black combat boots, or if he's feeling it that day, knee-length leather boots. Zhihao also wears a lot of accessories, and isn't seen anywhere without either a choker or a necklace. He also has one piercing on his ear, and sometimes wears an earring on that ear as well. Before we get into his dramatic side, let's talk about his positive traits (so we can prepare ourselves for the -storm to come). Shuangyue is caring, though he shows that side of him in a really roundabout way. Never does he states outrightly that he cares about you, nope. He prefers lacing it with threats and arguments, taking a big walk around the garden before coming to the main point yes I do care now go the hell to sleep. Shuangyue considers himself the second mom of KINGDOM, and actually admits it, unlike Sangmin. Except he mostly takes care of the dorm and everything else except the kids, because he cannot handle kids. He isn't afraid of telling the older members off though, especially when he has such a sharp tongue.

"Someone has to take care of this - dorm and if it happens to be me, well me then." 

One of his favourite past-times is complaining, but everyone knows that it's pointless talk. Well, most of the time. Shuangyue may be the youngest in his family, but that doesn't mean he's spoiled rotten by his sisters. Nope, he has to haul his everywhere as well, thank you very much. And because of his army of sisters (who tends to be very busy and frequently away from home), Shuangyue helped keeping the house clean from a young age, and that habit stuck to him to KINGDOM. He might not do the cleaning all the time, but he certainly nags all the time, and 'reminds' everyone to put their to where it belongs or else. 

"I won't tell you to get over it or anything, but I'll tell you this - you're good. And everyone else for thinking otherwise. Now let's get some sleep and get a new start tomorrow." 

Shuangyue is terrible with emotions, and he knows it. That's why he won't offer any empty promises or 'you'll be okay's, because he'd seen that it can only work so many times. So he takes the practical approach - drink more water, get some sleep and forget about it if it can't be solved. That's how he keeps himself on his feet, and is able to look straight ahead. 

"The sky's your limit. Think about what you can do rather than what you can't."

Despite his age, Shuangyue is actually wise beyond his years. Maybe it was because of accumulation of years of hearing his sisters about random things and even more years of listening to Selene, but when he gives advice (which he rarely does), it's usually accurate to the point which it's scary. So listen to Shuangyue when he has something important to say. 

"I'll walk up there and show everyone what I'm ing capable of. And I'll make sure all eyes are trained on me." 

With what he does and says on a daily basis, Shuangyue is often viewed as either a complete or overly-confident, and no one likes to be labeled the first anyways, so he goes with the second. He knows he's good, and he's confident of it, and shows it to the world.

"When your entire family is either off acting or somewhere else, you learn to take care of yourself." 

With most of his family being in the entertainment business, and his mother not really 'there', and without a father figure, Shuangyue pretty much learnt to take care of himself from a young age. Victoria and Selene may be there to support him, but Shuangyue was ultimately the one who taught himself to walk (figuratively).

"No one loves me anymore~ I'll just go and jump off a cliff or something then :(." 

"Hyung, that's the third time this week you've said that."

"Are you challenging me whether I would do it or not?" 

You think you've seen dramatic in the family just by looking at Hyunwook? Think again after you see Shuangyue. Whereas Hyunwook actually has a 'stop' button and becomes somber when he knows he's taking things too far, Shuangyue tends to push things as far as they could be until he's pushing someone's buttons. Unlike Hyunwook's sense of drama which is all biting remarks and bitter comments, Shuangyue is a variety of everything and basically bemoans his existence in so many ways you'll want to actually push him off a cliff. But you don't, because Shuangyue has a puppy-eyes that even Victoria with her heart of steel can resist. And so he continues.

"If you could manage to stop boring me and everyone else in the room with your words and actually come up with something amusing, maybe we can come to an agreement."

Sarcasm is a trait natural to all members of the Shin family, and of course, Shuangyue is not an exception. The only difference is that most of his words are biting and sharp in nature. Shuangyue tends to not have a brain-to-mouth filter, which usually costs him dearly. Nearly all of his sisters had warned him on this, but of course he only listened to Selene and Victoria. Shuangyue is trying his best to tone it down, but sarcasm will and always be his second language. 

"You're not okay, and don't even convince me otherwise. Now tell me what's wrong."

Yes, Shuangyue the seemingly insensitive is actually sensitive. While he may not be empathatic, he is very sensitive to the feelings of those around him and his own. He asks after people who 'doesn't feel okay to him', and ends up giving advice that caused his own to be whipped. But hey, at least the guy cares. As for his own, when he's feeling emotional, and by emotional I mean actually emotional and not that kind of dramatic stuff he does on a daily basis, Shuangyue tends to just hide away and keeps everyone away from him, so he can deal with his emotions by his own, because he knew no one would actually understand that overwhelming sadness that became akin to being depressed in the span of a second. So he shuts up and shuts down and shuts away.

"Just this one. You can do it. For me and for yourself." 

Somehow, Shuangyue is encouraging enough to persuade people into doing stuff. Either that, or he's just a charming and people fall victim to his charms. Either way, he can manage to persuade some unwilling people into doing a lot of stuff, and how he does it, no one knows. Not even himself, for heck's sake, because that comes naturally to him and somehow, it got him hated on. To which he just flipped off, of course.

"Oh you know." *gestures in a way that means that they mean nothing to him* 

Shuangyue was sometimes called the 'next Kim Heechul' (see nickname section), which extends to the pride he has of his beauty. Of course, there are other things, but generally Shuangyu is so confident of himself that sometimes it crosses into haughtiness territory. It might come off as rude, but he quickly covers it up with sarcasm.

"Oh for 's sake, hurry up." 

Shuangyue has a bad temper, which extends to his impatience. He barely has patience for anything, except for his relationships with other people. Well, sometimes. Shuangyue hates wasting time, and it shows. It's mostly due to his childhood, when he saw his sisters just complaining about not having enough time and lounging around when they have it. Also because they have a tight schedule, and they couldn't really waste any time. By the way, this also shows his nagging mom-side. 

"You think I'm blunt? Sweetie, you have no idea."

Obviously, from what we've just covered, it's no secret that he is blunt. Shuangyue doesn't really have a 'mouth-to-brain' filter, and he tells everything as it is, to everything and everyone. You might think that Shuangyue doesn't have a conscience, but no, he's just blunt.

"Oh, me." 

Yes, Shuangyue is foul-mouthed and yes, he is hot-tempered also. Whenever his temper starts flaring up, Shuangyue lets loose his extensive storage vault of swear words. Only when he's not in front of the camera, though sometimes he accidentally lets loose and curses in front of the camera, and Sangmin or someone else had to cover up his mouth to prevent unwanted accidents.

background Shuangyue was born to his mother on the night of April in 1995, just as the lunar eclipse revealed itself. At first, she was relieved that she finally had a son after so many daughters, and she brought him back to the house, where his sisters (Hera was back home for a while, 13 years old; Victoria, 5 years old; Artemis and the others are too young to realise what was going on) gushed over him.

Shuangyue grew up pretty normal, or as normal as someone could with five sisters in the house. Anyways. Because of good genes, Shuangyue grew up to be a really pretty boy, and his teachers all fawned over him in some way.

Timeskip to him entering middle school. The older he was, however, the more his feminine appearance started to get him into trouble with the other boys. At first, Shuangyue became really scared and avoided school altogether, but then Victoria, who was 19, realised what happened and walked straight to the school and kicked his bullies' asses. After Shuangyue saw what happened, he was determined to stand up for himself. Because he couldn't exactly fight back using physical strength, he started honing his verbal skills, to becoming the little piece of fire-spitting he is today.

One day after he entered high school, around the age of 16, his sister, Qihuang dragged him to an SM audition with her. He didn't know much about Kpop before, but he still sang a few songs at the audition and somehow, Shuangyue got into the company instead of his sister.

And that was when he started his life as a trainee. The rest, as they say, was history. 

(...not exactly. After Shuangyue transferred to Yuehua, he also enrolled in the Beijing Dance Academy, where he majored in Chinese Classical Dance and modern, as well as took classes in Peking opera outside of school)

Since a young age, Victoria has had a hate-trying-desperately-to-love-her relationship with her sister, who resents her for leaving and making her take care of the others, as well as having one foot in the entertainment industry earlier than anyone else. Now, with her being one of the most successful actresses in the world, Hera's trying to take time to reconcile with her family, except now that her siblings are all grown up, they could hardly do that and could only meet in the public eye. Hanling is the second-oldest, but she's mostly in charge of running the household. Armed with shoulder-length hair, narrowed gazes and heels, no one in this particular branch of the Shin family dare cross her, not even the eldest. She rules the Shin cousins with Jiwon, especially the Chinese ones. As you can see, Shuangyue takes after her, and when they were young, the boy was often seen trotting after her like a little duck. She is the only one who can call Shuangyue a 'little duck' and live. Hanling is also the one who taught Shaungyue how to do The Walk, and basically passed on her heritage to him.

Artemis is the third sister of the Shin family, and the only one who even bothers to argue with Victoria. She disagrees with her sister in nearly everything, and is frequently seen in argument with her until someone shows up, and tells her to shut up (Victoria would just stare at her in complete boredom). That doesn't stop Artemis though, she would bring the storm to her bedroom and sulks until someone, usually Selene, goes and calms her down. Artemis is caring however, and she tries to bring Shuangyue under her influence a lot when they were young, but mostly fails. She nags a lot though, and tries to give him advice on every front possible. He nitpicks through the pile, and accepts a few, but he loves his sister for the most part, except when she's being far too annoying. Because she's starting her own fashion line, she frequently calls him to help her model for her designs. It could be an excuse to have him by her side always, it could be because of his visuals and frame, but who knows? Fyi, she's the only one who calls him Zhihao in the family and does not budge no matter how much he tries to persuade her to stop using that name.

Selene is probably the only normal member from the family, aside from the eldest sister (who is even Barely There), if asked by a random stranger. She is also the only member of the Shin family that's probably hidden from the public eye (remember how many of 'em we have in this universe), and loves her soltitude and silence. Selene has an aura of calmness around her that somehow makes everyone shut up when she speaks, even if the room was a racket before that. She is made of kindness and sweetness and everything nice, and everyone treats her as the baby of the family even though she's not (and let's completely ignore Shuangyue here as well). Selene is beloved by everyone, and she believes in fairness and kindness. Somehow, no one dares cross her, mostly because Victoria will be there to stare you down, but also because she is such a sweet being. Selene does not have an ounce of anger in her, only tears, but when those tears appear, be prepared to disappear in an alley that Jiae, Jiwon and Eunyeong just walked out of. Shuangyue sticks close to her because she gives him geniune advice (and doesn't just nag like Artemis), and the two has had a good relationship since childhood.

(I created her because I wanted Kyulkyung as a fc) The twin of Selene, Brunhilda is different in many ways, not only compared to her twin, but also to her sisters. For one, her name does not include a character related to 'ice' or the cold. For another, she is the only one who has a name not deprived from Greek mythology. Actually, she did, but it was Andromeda, and because it was a star and her sister a moon, she changed it to the name of a Norse warrior valkyrie. So you, mom. Because of her sister's sweet-as-hell personality, Brunhilda has made a resolution since she was little to be not sweet, and became a rather rebellious child from a young age. She wore black, leather, and knee-high boots, learning only from the best - Victoria, of course. As their mother was taking care of a twelve year-old Shuangyue and thought at last the family has a normal child who didn't blab about being in the spotlight, Brunhilda ran away to Yuehua and trained with them for a few years, before debuting in her own group and saying bye to her siblings. Brunhilda and Shuangyue aren't really close, but they still talk during family reunions and that, but apart from that they haven't had many interactions. That said, when Shuangyue went to Yuehua, Brunhilda was the first to take care of him, and family is always Family. So there.

Due to some stupid and unforseenable circumstances at a certain Shin family reunion some years ago, it caused immense hostility between the two and no one knew why. Well, except for maybe Hyunwook, who's a little piece of but whatever. Anyways. At first, the two had gotten along really well, except the occasional Shin family splat that occurs nearly everyday, but then this time it got really weird, as Shuangyue practically parked his to the far end of the table, opposite ends with Jineul. Whatever happened showed Shuangyue's obvious desire to distance himself with his older cousin, and Jineul was not so stupid as to not notice that. At any rate, Jineul had bribbed asked Hyunwook about the whole affair, who either was a very good liar or really knows nothing at all. With Shuangyue about to debut in a group that was coined with the term 'rival of EMPIRE', s about his relationship with his older cousin, and Shuangyue is more than happy to engage in any dance-off battles with Jineul when needed.

Hyunwook and Shuangyue are partners-in-crime, despite their nearly one-year . That gang also included Jineul, until Shuangyue effecively and promptly cut him off. Hyunwook became really close with Shuangyue because of their dual diva personalities, probably. Because the three of them (Jineul, Hyunwook and Shuangyue) were all trainees together, and Hyunwook debuted first, he claimed that he has bragging rights over the two of them, which earned him twin slaps on either side of his face. It was worth it though, for the single moment that they reunited just for the single purpose of hitting him. Hyunwook also doesn't call Shuangyue hyung.

When Shuangyue joined SM, he somehow caught the eyes of Heechul during a training session, and they became friends through some way or another. With more contact with Heechul, Shuangyue learnt some of Heechul's charm and variety skills, which coined him that nickname of the 'Next Kim Heechul'. Even after Shuangyue left SM, they still kept in contact. When Shuangyue finally met Heechul again on screen again in 'Knowing Bros', Heechul greeted him with a hug and claimed him as his 'protege' on the show. When Shuangyue revealed that his favourite group was Super Junior, Heechul was even more happy, but then he discovered his favourite member wasn't him and got pseudo-anger. They're still friends, of course.

✉ NEX7 ✉ His brothers

Shuangyue, after becoming a trainee of Yuehua, joined the show 'Idol Producer' and finished tenth, nearly able to join the group NINE PERCENT. Shuangyue was discouraged, but then Yuehua promised him a spot in NEX7, a boy group composed of top Yuehua trainees who participated in Idol Producer. He was enthusiastic that he could finally debut, but a sudden change in the lineup excluded Shuangyue from the group. He was of course, understandably upset, and threatened to leave the company. His sister, Qihuang, even directly went up to the CEO and demanded an explanation, but there wasn't one Shuangyue was visibly distraught, and his teammates tried comforting him to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately, there was nothing to be done, and luckily, JYP had scouted him. With a broken heart, Shuangyue left the NEX7 members and went to JYP. They still keep in touch though, and are really good friends.

Jinyoung encountered Shuangyue through Jackson, who was friends with him as well. They instantly hit it off, and were called the 'duo devils' of JYP because of their shared sass and savagery. Jinyoung considers Shuangyue an equal, because their amount of training years were similar. Now, they occasionally hang out together, and usually have fun sassing everyone around them. Shuangyue once had a crush on Jinyoung, but he got over it, and they're relatively good friends now.

Yesung is extremely caring towards those close with him and around him, which includes s and family. Naturally, he would be caring towards Shuangyue as well, and would take good care of his dongsaeng. 

He's also incredibly hard-working, which came about as part of his insecure personality. Because he didn't have much confidence, Yesung made up for it by working really hard. 

He's also really sensitive and picks up the emotions of people around him and knows his own emotions really well. Therefore, he would be able to pick up on Shuangyue's violent mood swings and whatnot.

Yesung is also rather nice and kind towards younger members and trainees, which included him taking care of Shuangyue well. He treats everyone with a pleasant attitude.

Unfortunately, he's also very irritable, and prone to random bursts of anger. Yesung tries to hold it in around Shuangyue, but it can sometimes go out of control and would result in a cold war between the two.

first meeting After Heechul practically adopted him and took him under his wing, he introduced Shuangyue to his fellow members, of which included Yesung. They left an impression on him and he aimed to be like them, though the actual 'first meeting' between the two of them was really Yesung accidentally walking in Shuangyue practicing his vocals in a room and was stunned with his voice. 

development It took a really long time before the both of them realised they have feelings for each other, especially because of the . It was especially hard because the two of them were rather awkward around each other around the first few years, when they kept bumping into each other in the corridor. Super Junior also gained immense fame in 2011, so there was practically no intearactions between the two. It wasn't until Shuangyue was officially introduced as a member of SM Rookies and started to work on any future plans, and he worked with Yesung on his OSTs that they actually started interacting. By this time, it was probably around the end of 2013 and start of 2014, near the time Yesung was about to start his mandatory military service. After Yesung came back, Shuangyue was already gone to Yuehua, and both mutually agreed to take some time off to sort out their feelings. Shuangyue eventually confessed his feelings for Yesung again, so they're probably 'sort of' dating? 

interactions There wasn't really any interactions around them, to be honest. During preparation for the song 'Blind', which was promoted in SM the Ballad, they did have a few moments of skinship like leaning against each other and sneaked moments here and there, but because their relationship was so awkward, and they don't really see each other, they don't really have much interactions.
