APPEARANCE eunseong is quite tall amongst her peers, standing at 165cm. she has a slight build, though she's a little curvier than what was expected of female idols (49kg).

she has a generally sweet apperance, appearing quite soft and gentle, and always seen with a smile on her face. she also has naturally pink lips that makes her stand out, but also enhances her sweet image.

eunseong may seem like the kind of girl who doesn't have piercings or tattoos, but in reality there is a very small moon and stars tattoo on her left hip. this is as a reflection of her stagename (moon = moon, seong = star), as well as showing her dedication to her idol moonbyul.

FASHION STYLE eunseong is the kind of girl who is able to look chic and classy one day, and have girl-next-door vibes the next day.

when she's feeling like it, she dresses very professionally, wearing body-clinging dresses that shows off her figure and heels, or heeled boots. these are usually combined with simple jewellry, such as a ring or earrings to match. this gives her a timeless elegance which just shows off her visuals even more.

in terms of makeup she does very light makeup, and leans to the japanese style rather than korean. she wears very light foundation with blush, her colour palette consisting of pinks and reds. this extends to her nails as well, often painted a sakura pink. her main principle about makeup and accessories is to be simple - her outfits can speak for themselves. eunseong is a very friendly individual who doesn't hesitate to become friends with everyone. she's super sociable, and seems to shine in every social gathering she goes to. at her best, she's humorous, initiating conversations and making jokes, especially when she's feeling mischievous. she's known amongst the other celebrities and groupmates to be a social star and one of the most sociable idols in the industry, though she doesn't really have that many close friends, despite knowing many celebrities.

she's also gentle with people, and tends to be the one who can coax a shy and timid person out of their shell. she doesn't push people, nor does she get rough with anyone because there's just no point. don't mistake that gentleness and kindness for weakness, however; eunseong can easily kick your if she has to.

eunseong is also a very passionate person. whatever she puts her heart into, she'll see it through the end. she also tends to go on and on about whatever was her newest obsession (usually some new korean drama :3) and tends to not be able to stop. when she realises she had been talking the ear off whoever was stuck with her, she gets very flustered. but whenever she's talking about something she's passionate about, her eyes just...light up, and there's a bright aura around her.

with all her pureness and gentleness though, eunseong is actually quite observant, in that she sees a lot of things that people might not pick up on. she knows what's going on in the world, or so she thinks. the problem is that she sees a lot of things, but sometimes can't really understand what's going on because of how naive she is. because eunseong has such a heart of gold, she refuses to believe that things might be wrong or things might be amiss. however, her observant nature does help her tune into the feelings of other people, and especially when she's making new friends. it's just when she sees something bad going on that she doesn't really know. otherwise, it's all good.

she is also a very loyal individual. once eunseong decides that she wants to stick with you, she'll follow you to frankly the end of the line unless you turn on her first. oh yes, and eunseong doesn't take betrayal well. at all. nor does she have patience or room for it, frankly. once you betray her, she would struggle for a while coming to terms with it, but after that, you're pretty much dead to her.

eunseong is also a sentimental little bub. on certain nights, you can find her sitting on a windowsill, looking outside and staring off the distance, or taking a late-night walk, just to gather her thoughts and rearrange her feelings. sometimes she feels a little wistful when she talks about the past, but she never regrets anything. eunseong is also the one who takes someone’s leaving the hardest, because she’s just that sentimental.

she's very responsible as well. while not necessarily the mother figure of the group, she does take care of herself and makes sure she knows what she's doing, and what everyone else is doing. her team regards her as the oldest child of the group, even if she may not necessarily be in terms of age. but yes, she does make sure that first and foremost, she herself doesn't collapse from exhaustion. after all, this would help relieve the burden on her leader and the others.

despite what she says and does though, eunseong is actually quite insecure about herself. on a bad morning you may catch herself spending hours in front of a mirror, frowning at herself and saying nothing; but it's likely that she's mentally chiding herself. sometimes, the long hours she spends in the vocal studio are projections of her insecurity, with eunseong trying to achieve perfection in whatever she does. because she is a perfectionist, eunseong is also always insecure in her abilities. in a way, this helps her achieve the perfection she looks for, but also hinders her confidence sometimes.

this journey for perfection also shows itself in the long hours she spends in the dance studio. while her position of main vocal would of course need to be maintained through frequent practice and training, her lack of position anywhere else in the team makes her vulnerable to attack online, so she tries her best to perfect her dancing as well.

this doesn't always happen, but eunseong, when she gets too excited, tends to become overbearing in a sense. her voice becomes louder, and her actions are kind of...aggressive. she can come off as overbearing as times when she does this, but right now she's trying to tone it down after people started berating her for it. it's hard, but she's learning. this is a reflection of her brash nature, which only manifests when she's over-excited.

despite how responsible eunseong is, she's still a very clumsy girl. it's more of her being forgettable, because she tends to be the one who's always searching around for her stuff. but it also happens outside the dance studio, which is possibly the only place she doesn't have two left feet (and the stage, of course). she just randomly trips over stuff and stumbles over things. which is another reason why she doesn't wear heels.

despite how sweet-natured she is, eunseong is actually quite possessive secretly. while she has loads of friends due to her sociable nature, it's really difficult for her to find someone to truly open up to. so when she finds true friends or people that she really likes, eunseong wants to spend more time with them, to get to know them, etc. sometimes she gets so possessive of people that she just dominates all conversation and time with them, though her insecurity usually helps rein her in just in time. but then the guilt falls in and really, it's a bit of a vicious cycle whenever she gets possessive of people.

BACKGROUND

{2000} eunseong was born moon sunghwi on 10am in 14.02.2000, on valentine's day, the only child of her family. which is why, since a young age, she had the undivided attention of her family.

{2001 - 2010} her life was generally uneventful; nothing really happens to her. she had quite a sociable following at school, she made a lot of friends and was generally doing very well at school. she didn't really listen to much kpop - it was just at the background of her life, nothing really standing out. eunseong also sings at school and in church - she was in the choir, which was how she started singing.

{2011} at the age of 11, her family moves to australia. she already had family there, but why exactly her family decided to move, she wasn't sure. nonetheless, she settled in australia quite well and learnt her english there.

{2012 - 2014} those are the years when the kpop hype actually took off, which is also when eunseong started paying attention to it. she started liking groups, but didn't really fall headfirst into the hallyu wave. nonetheless, she started taking a greater interest into the whole thing.

{2014 - 2016} mamamoo started to become more popular, and eunseong found a group's music which she's genuinely interested in. she started to get obsessively into mamamoo's music, and she started to make covers of kpop songs. especially when in 2016 one of her closest friends got scouted into jyp, eunseong thought that maybe, she could get into it.

{2017} eunseong finished school, and decided to apply for university in south korea. when one of the universities accepted her as a applied music major, she took the opportunity to move abroad and auditioned around at the same time. she wanted to get into jyp with her friend, but of course, jyp is one of the big three and tough to get into.

{2018} she got accepted into star entertainment as a trainee, and started training there. her vocal capabilites of course weren't as good as they were now, but nonetheless, she persisted. and in 2020, she was selected in the lineup for renegade-g. 2019 was the year she decided on her stagename officially.

TRAINEE LIFE eunseong started off trainee life as a university student, freshly from australia, her korean developed from her days in korea and of course, practiced at home, but nowhere near the proficiency of those korean trainees in star ent. her status as a foreign trainee in star ent. caused quite a lot of stares her way, but her friendliness and extroverted nature quickly makes her settled in along the other trainees.

eunseong quickly proved herself through her vocal capabilities. of course, she'd passed the audition, which means that she would've had some skill in singing, but it was truly in star that she started to find herself. and of course, she received some training in dancing and rapping, but she always put priority in singing.

quickly distinguishing herself with her singing, eunseong rose up the ranks and soon found herself in the lineup of renegade-g. though of course, her troubles would be far from over despite her being set for debut

— eunseong has an uncanny ability for memorising lyrics. she can listen to a song twice, look at the lyrics, then sing them perfectly (not the rap parts - just the main vocal parts) she learns songs astonishingly fast, but that doesn't mean she always remembers the lyrics

— she looks up to solar most in terms of vocal ability. of course taeyeon and iu are the og queens, but she also tries to imitate solar's singing style

— she'll again, combust, if she could do a duet with solar

— eunseong is notorious amongst the producers for being the pickiest member and the one who needs the most time to record. you'd think she would want to uphold her reputation as main vocal and do it asap, but no. perfection stands at the forefront of everything

— she has a lot of personal routines before singing or recording. eunseong likes to warm up and drinks warm (warm) water before she starts, and water only. not coffee, not chocolate, water. she takes off her shoes in the recording booth and makes herself as comfortable as possible, and equips herself with her favourite pencil, marking down annotations on her lyric sheet. yeah.

I think she'll have a regular section like chan's room in skz, and she'll just spends like fifteen to twenty minutes to this. her fans are very considerate and tell the others to stop pestering her like this because she isn't their personal parrot, but eunseong reassures them that she doesn't mind, and finds it really fun. she also says that she finds new songs this way so yeah. it's all good

SCANDAL(S)

'renegade-g's yvelyn caught seen with stray kids' felix in public in a cafe'

eunseong was hanging out with felix after debut, because of course, he was (and still is) one of her closest friends, and ever since he joined jyp they hadn't seen each other. granted, it was only three years, but three years was a long time. so, when they were seen by dispatch, of course dispatch gonna do something about it because that's what they do.

(and of course, they aren't dating. so there's that.) nonetheless, for a newly debuted idol being caught in a dating scandal so soon is a pain for both herself and the group's reputation. she fell into a slump for quite some time after the scandal broke, and luckily she had adyle to rough her up again.

sydney doesn't really have a huge korean community, so when her family moved there they got to know everyone within the community. felix was one of the children there who's around eunseong's age, so of course they grew close. and felix's bubbly and cheerful nature makes it really easy for him to get close with, so they became best of friends. before they both became trainees, they used to hang out at each others' houses and spent a lot of time together. felix was the one who truly got eunseong into kpop, and brought her to her first kpop concert when gdragon went to australia. now that they're both in korea as idols, it's quite easy to spend time together. though of course they'd had to be careful of goddamn dispatch.

and of course, in regards to any romantic attraction, eunseong had known felix ever since he was 10 or 11, and she'd seen him through his awkward and weird times, so yeah. no romantic attraction there.
