Real World, Please Don't Come :(

Applying for universities is so scary! It costs so much money too! For the college it's 25 dollars, for my university of choice is 70, my second is also 70 then that useless one that only has ESL teaching class is 35, and one is free! But I don't really want to go there.....Why did nobody tell me that applications costs so much! That's like 200 dollars upon my actual tuition and I don't know where I'm moving! I might stay here, or move to one of three other cities! So I have to apply to each of these universities as they are in every city I might move too.

This is so stressful, and some of these universities don't even have the courses I want! What kind of university has no psychology, philosophy, sociology, or linguistcs class? I am so lost right now, I just want to be done with it all, out of high school and somehow already in uni. Please~ (/。\)

My advice to you is to choose something you enjoy. If you choose something based on following the crowd or because of parents, you will have quite the difficult time enjoying university. I currently don't enjoy what I'm in at the moment, but I have no choice but to finish it, or else it'd be a complete waste of time, resources and money. Another piece of advice: make friends with professors. If you're going into research and plan to do a masters degree and so forth, do send e-mails to professors in your first or second year (so U1 or U2). Although it's costly, a good and valuable education is priceless. Best of luck.
