Contest? Should I Join?

So...Soshified is having an end of the year contest where I can write about 3 themes. I am only interested in the "Pairing" and "Christmas" themes but do you readers want me even to join? There are certain things that will happen if I join (1) Good possibility I won't update any fics until I enter the stories (give or take because inspiration could come)...basically no updates until after Dec. 16 (2) You would get 2 one-shots immediatly after Christmas.

I am not really into contests because I am not confident in anything. So I will leave this decision up to you readers.

it's up to you, but in my opinion if you want to join the contest, just join. eventhough you didn't win, at least you've tried and had experience.
