How can Miss A gain popularity?

I think we all know Miss A's promotion is trash. They have decent singles and amazing discography, yet they aren't getting the recognition they deserve.

Suzy's the breakout star, the most popular but the other three aren't so lucky. It all started with Dream High and ever since then, she's been popular. But before we even get into the single members, we must start with Miss A, because Miss A is what it's all about.

The group needs success as a whole. They need to be marketed better. The easiest way is more exposure. On tv and just advertised in general. Look at the nugu groups, how are they getting out there? Through radio shows and appearances on lesser known shows. Drastic, yes, but we saw this when Miss A appeared on Pops In Seoul. They also need to interact with fans more like they got the opportunity to on After School Club. Fan service is great, and you know the more fan signs you have, the more albums you sell, it's just fact. So Miss A needs more album signings. But who's checking for their album if they don't even know it's coming out?

The promo needs to start early, don't just announce a week before that they're coming back... Miss A is from a major label, treat them as such. Let the news out a month in advance, so fans can mentally prepare themselves and their wallets for the impending comeback. Every time they comeback, it should be an event, with a grand promotional cycle starting with the teasers. Why not tease us with pictures first, and then videos of individual members, then groups? Money's the issue? I doubt it, because again, Big 3.

But even then, say it was, the photo teasers could simply be photos from the album jacket, maybe highlight one corner of a bigger photo, have fans guess the comeback concept, or even the name of the song. Get the fans involved. Make it fun, make it exciting. Get articles buzzing around this comeback. I know mediaplay may be annoying, but Miss A never gets any of it as a group, only in regards to Suzy. Highlight the member's individual quarks. Show us why the album is worth paying attention to.

And when the album finally drops, support it! It takes more than just one music video to make me want to buy the album. Support more than one track, give them a second stage. Because in the case of Hush, no, I wasn't feeling that title track too much, but I knew that there were better songs on the album. I knew as a fan, but if I was a random passerbyer, I would've disregarded it all together. Play it up, have the members show their passion about the album, get them gigs on shows. The more exposure, the more the people know.

Lastly, keep me excited. When promotions are over, I don't want that to just be it, give me something else to look forward to. I know the members go through with their individual schedules, but this is where the company comes into play. Put out some merch, put out dance practice videos, quench my thirst for more Miss A and give me something hearty that will satisfy me until the next time. Good day.
